"I've worked for New Image, I find them fair and just" is a quote from an earlier posting of mine. I need to rescind that.
I know that I will be attacked by this group in one form or another, because that is what you do, so well.
Sun&fun is absolutely correct. I did jobs for them occasionally. right up until February. The scheduler phoned me, it was the first time that I had spoken with her. She stated, amongst other things, that they needed new faces in my area. I had not dealt with them recently and she read the location's to me which needed to have a new shopper at; there were eight of them, in which I had accepted.
She actually told me that she would schedule them, in which she did; they were never seen on the job board after that. I was currently, the 'new face'.
During the phone conversation she had stated how she, 'loved me' and that I would have more jobs the next month.
Well, she must have stopped loving me, as the following month, her email stated that the company was looking for 'fresh faces', along with the promotion of new shops available. Fortunately for me, I save all of her emails. Once I linked onto the site, within minutes, there was not a job in my area listed. There wasn't even a local location in the 'request' list.
I, as Sun&Fun found out, was not eligible for any shop's in my state.
I have lived in this area for 35 years and I have a tendency to know a lot of people, so I did my own investigating. True to form, another shopper has been completing the shops, all of them, even the one's, 'not listed'.
Ethics is not one of her virtues. I am unsure if the company is aware of how she play's games or not.
Go ahead and blast me, it hasn't happened to you yet. You might be lucky and have an honest scheduler; we can not make that claim.
