Abercrombie

I like these shops. They are very easy and require no BS minimum purchase. I usually try to wait for bonus, unless I am going to be shopping at the mall that the shop is located at. The hardest part is getting the NAME of the associate who lets me into the dressing room. How stupid is that? What a dead give away! Nobody that is obviously too old to be trying on these trendy clothes would normally ask for the dressing attendants name...unless they were the MYSTERY SHOPPER!!!

I have a 30-year-old male relative who shops. He refuses to do these shops because he says he feels like a perv if he has to ask the young girls in these stores what their names are.
It is much easier for a 38 year old mom to ask for the name. "You've been so helpful, what is your name, dear?" "You look like a fellow I used to teach in preschool, what is your name?" "You remind me of a girl/boy that was in my daughter's class, what is your name?"

I 100% agree, this requirement would be awkward for a peer of the salesperson's age group!

The good thing is, I have shopped this place so much that I know the names of a few of the kids who work there. Hopefully, the turnover rate will remain low.
I've felt like a cougar before on some assignments when I have to ask some young stud his name in an unnatural situation. Sometimes you can almost see their gears whirring thinking about the possibility that I am some kind of sabertooth, and it's even more embarrassing. tongue sticking out smiley

Hey, MSCs, ya want names? Give these kids NAME TAGS. And be sure that we can actually READ them without peering at their chests from a half foot away.

Yeah ..... if the client wants customers to know the names of the workers in each of the stores, why are they not required to wear name tags?
I don't even care if the kids use their real names. Just some kinda name, made-up or otherwise, I don't care. Just don't put me in a position to have to ask for a name when no one else would, and don't ask me to decipher a name that's been made with a hokey labelmaker in a size requiring binoculars. Especially when these kids have been named by their parents with oh-so-creative spellings. Ugh. tongue sticking out smiley

Malysa? Channon? C'mon.

LOL. Don't you hate it when you get the "eyes" after you have stared at the name tag on the chest for the umpteenth time trying to memorize the spelling of the name?
LOL, IGoogle! That's for sure! If I have to deal with one more Rybekka or Stanlee or Kurtys in the next month, I'm gonna freak out! Seriously, when did our society decide to get so cutesy with names? Aaaaaarggggh!

I read in one of the above posts that the shop pays $14. This shop only pays $8 here. I thought, along with another poster, that the poster was thinking of a different client, but they verified that it is Abercrombie that begins at $14.

How can that be? Just wondering? Should I move? LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

It is the same MSC and the same client. It pays $8 here also. If it sits on the board until toward the end of the month, the fee can go up - I've done it at $15 before. Or, possibly, if someone flakes or makes a mistake and it needs to be re-shopped at the last minute. But usually it's $8. LOL. I've thought moving might be an answered, too. A lot depends on the competition in your area.
Ah! Thanks for the info! smiling smiley

Don't move here and take all of my $14 AF shops!!! LOL!
I just did two Abercrombie shops (South Jersey) within the last month or so. They pay $1 (yeah) and reimburse up to $14. Their reports are the easiest I've ever submitted. I haven't seen Abercrombie shops in a while but took a break and I think the company may have changes. When I did shop them in North Jersey, they paid $8.
LOL! Don't worry. smiling smiley

I just did one yesterday for $8 (abercrombie kids). I was already doing a pretzel one, a sunglass one, and cell phone shop all in the same mall. All with different MSCs. Go me. That's what you call killing 4 birds with one stone.
