Abercrombie

Has anyone done the Abercrombie Kids shop? Don't want to mention the company. I'm wondering how much it pays. I don't want to take the training to find out it pays $5.

Assuming it's the same as A&F and Hollister, it pays $5. No photos, 4 digit code from clothing required. Right now, they're bonused here - all 3 in two malls at $10 each.
I see it as "high" as $8 sometimes. :-) Never done em.

Up here in WA, it is $8 pretty regularly. Easy and tedious at the same time. Their products fit a small demographic of people, so have a good story already cooked up before you go in if you are going to get ANY service or enable yourself to buy enough time to look at everything you want to.

IMHO, they aren't the best shop, but if you are already going to be at the mall that day, whats another 20 minutes and 8 bucks? Reports take 15 to fill out, not a lot of narrative.

All 3,2 malls and $10? I take 'em. NO bonuses here though. And yes, it's the same company, where you can't tell how much the job pays until you waste your time taking the training.

Thanks everyone.
aw.. i have done three(aero af and hollister) of them... and hey 5 bucks to go in and talk to someone when you are already at a mall is fine with me...

but yeah if you are not a tweeny most of the cloths dont fit... i tried an xl shirt on and i dont think it would have passed for a medium at walmart... course my doc said i do need to lose some weight...

the real crudbuster are the teeshirt shops... only 14 bucks reimbursed.. no returns and the tees cost upwards of 20 bucks... blah ..pass until bonused...

How do I find out what mystery shopping company shops Abercrombie and Fitch??
Start registering with the ones listed below on the "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies." You also need to register with Jobslinger and MSJobBoard.com. Those are sites where some, but not all of the MSCs post jobs. Others have also had some luck with using Google.

Keep in mind, you have resurrected a thread that is three and a half years old. Since there are no current discussion regarding the client, it is highly likely they have suspended their mystery shopping program. It really is much more beneficial to register and pick up mystery shopping in your area rather than go on the hunt for some elusive client.

What you cannot do is ask the members of the forum since it would violate most confidentiality agreements we sign and is a violation of the rules established by the owner of the forum.

It's one of the largest msc.

They are still shopped here and they start at $8, not $5. I would not subject myself to the loud noise (music) for $5 and rarely for $8. Besides what's someone my age doing taking one of those skimpy tops into the fitting room anyway? I get a buzz out of pressing that handicapped button on the way out..it just makes my day. I do like the colognes though. The kids shop is the easiest of 'em all.

Don't hate me, but they pay $14 here and sometimes get bonused to $20!
I just picked up one for $25. I have regularly gotten them at 10-15.

My kids love that store so I've got no problem going in looking for redlines that are even further marked down. Its the adult version that I go into and leave with a headache from the music and the cologne they pour out in gallons it seems.

I will say on Black Friday at the mall the Abercrombie models were there. And they do look just like they do on the pictures on the wall. My niece and i stood in front of Bath and Body works and just looked and said "oh my".
LOL. My former student is now a Hollister Model. It's kind of strange to see.

I've always wondered, how does the ms company know if you return the item? You could wait a week or two and then bring it back.
Hudge, they can match up the receipt with the shop report.

The Ambercrombie shops I have done are fee only with no reimbursed items. The $14.00 item shops you are referring to actually a lot of us find extremely worthwhile. I bought all sorts of things this season for gifts and didn't go over the reimbursement (or maybe a couple of dollars)...this included hoodies, pajama pants. tshirts for 10.00, etc.

Ah, I've recently started doing the $14 reimbursement only shops and found them to be a cakewalk. Plus, I took them with a nice fee attached as well. Got several small "extras" for gifts. Compared to Abercrombie and Company those are eazy peazy.

I got one for $18 but mostly they are 8 bucks.....
I believe you are thinking of Aeropostale, not Abercrombie.

That is terrific for you then. The most I have ever seen here has been $10, and even that was only bonused from $8.

Maybe less competition?

$8 here too. sad smiley However, they're straightforward and easy. Does anyone know the age cut off for these? Without revealing my age, I wonder if I am creeping up on the cut off! Sigh.
I'm over 60 and occasionally do them, so I don't think there's an age cutoff..maybe 65 LOL

There is not an age cut off. There is a size restriction. You have to be able to fit into their clothes.
I had to permanently opt out of these. Not only do I not fit the clothes, but many colognes give me a splitting headache.

I squeeze into the clothes and look like a late 30 something trying to look like a teen!

I agree about the scents. Between the scents and the music, I usually end up with a headache!

Does someone else do the Afkids, than the regular AF, or are people mixing it up with Aeropostale? I see the Aeropostale done and reimbursed for $14 by a different company than the one that does the regular AF. The MS that does the AF and Hollister bumps them up for average $15 and when they are near deadline to $20-25, straight fee, no purchase needed.
One of the posters above confused Aeropostle shops, which are usually reimbursement only (if they remain on the board a while - almost never stay on the board in my area more than a day or 2 - they do pay a small fee) with the Abercrombie shops, which require no purchase and pay a fee with no reimbursement. Abercrombie Kids is shopped in my area by the same MSC that shops Abercrombie and Hollister which is a different MSC than the one that shops Aeropostle. The fee paid for the Abercrombie Kids shops is pretty low but climbs if they remain on the board a while.
