They are currently hiring shoppers that have a 17 year old to take for some type of compliance shop.
I have seen shops which require you to purchase using your walgreens rewards card. They went very fast both times they were on the board.
I only know about the compliance shops with one MSC, but I'm not in the age group, nor do I know anyone who is 17. I just see all those precious shops sitting there. So close. sad smiley

I don't know if their actual store is mystery shopped. I wouldn't be surprised. I just have not signed up with enough companies yet. Now I'm curious.

Yes!! Love them!! Rewards card shop.
The Rewards Card shop was great and paid well.

Walgreen's also has pricing/inventory audits.

I was wondering about them and CVS. They're on every corner around here. Guess I'll have to get busy and sign up with some more companies.
I need to get off my a$$ and get signed up with more companies, too. I've become complacent with the ones I have, and have been realizing that some of my favorites either aren't there any more (hopefully I'll find them with a new MSC), or that other favorites have had rotations extended significantly.

It's weird ~ I'm motivated to sign up with more, but just haven't taken the time because I've been catching up on so many things around the house that went undone when I was really busy MS'ing Jan-Feb-Mar. But April was slow enough (MS'ing-wise) that I convinced myself I need more companies!

I would love to do Wal-Greens.

In my area, they always want a shopper with a 17 year old.
At Walgreens I have done product audits, department based customer service shops and pharmacy shops. They have been done with different MSCs.
Six years ago, Walgreens were shopped by a major msc. However, when the economy went south, they stopped the ms'ing program. There are rewards/AARP shops done by a different msc and they were easy. I think there were 2 or 3 questions. There are always compliant shops.

When Walgreens did the balanced rewards shops I saw the notice, but it was only in limited areas - no shops were being done in my area. I was hoping it would grow to my area but has not. So, even signing up for more shops you may not find these.
Both me and my wife picked up 2 each of the Rewards cards visit. But I think it was CVS who was the one behind that visit. Because of those 4 visits, I have enough toilet paper and other Walgreen's branded items to last me years...lol
Picked up a customer service shop today for a walgreens. Different company than the one that does the age compliance.
I just visited a board today- the same MSC with the compliance shops there- that has a slew of regular shops visiting several departments for $15. This, at least in AZ.
You guys such teases!

I've got their Rewards Card and would love to do the regular or rewards shops, but haven't found any of them yet.

I saw one once! And haven't since - I don't believe it was for my area but rather when I was doing some MSC board browsing.

I just saw one and it says I have to visit three different departments. Hopefully it isn't as 'fun' as the Best Buy ones! ha!
I just found the Walgreens shops that require a female shopper. I would swear that I checked that MSC last night, and I didn't see them. But I just got an email and now there they are. I'm going to grab a couple and see what's involved.
I grabbed one in my area, too. It can't possibly be as bad as Best Buy, can it?!? Those are awful!
I just got an email from the MSC, that had five 'retail shops' in my town. Which I've *never* seen from them before. So, I was intrigued, and went to check it out. 'Lo & behold', it's Wal-Greens! Requires a female shopper (?) and pays $15 + $1.

Two annoyances...
WHY can they not give the actual address of the location, like pretty much every other MSC? Why just a zip code?!

WHY are they only allowing two per shopper? Apparently they are...
I took the one I suspected, based on zip code, was one near me. And, I was right, thank goodness ~ again, WHY can't they have the actual address listed like every other MSC? (And no, the one near me doesn't share my zip code ~ it's right on the other side of the line.)
Then, I took another that was out in the south of town, based on zip code. There were two listings with the zip code for that part of town, and there are, indeed, two locations out there. I was planning on taking both ~ you know, since I'm going all the way to that end of town, why not do two shops? But after I took the first one out South, ALL other listings disappeared!

And, four locations in town were never even listed. sad smiley Not even in the initial email ~ so it's not like I just got to the board too late. It was two hours after the email, but still, there were only five in the email. Hopefully, the others will be up soon! I wonder about that limit ~ is it two at a time? Two per week/two weeks/month?

Oh, and one more annoyance with this MSC:
I *hate* the way their guidelines/instructions and questionnaire print.

The guidelines/instructions are in VERY small print, and in some sections, with very poor line/paragraph spacing. Anyone there ever hear of a slightly larger font size? When I worked for the state as a secretary (or whatever the hell you want to call it) first it was minimum 10 point font size. Later, that was changed to 12 point for ADA compliance.

As for the line/paragraph spacing, there's one section with several sub-sections. Each subsection is double-spaced. There's the same spacing between sub-sections. Does that make sense? There should be an extra line spacing between sub-sections. They do have the heading of each sub-section in a different font color, but I must print in B/W right now (long story). And, even when viewed on-screen, it's difficult to follow because of the spacing, despite the color thing. Then, there's another section that is bulleted. But, there's no space between bullet points ~ just regular line spacing, so everything looks all ran together.

For the Questionnaire, not only is the print small, but is done in a GRAY FONT COLOR. *WHY* on earth would you make your questionnaire in GRAY font color?! It wouldn't make any difference if I *did* print in color ~ it would still be gray! So I've got a questionnaire in tiny gray print. *sigh & grumble*.

There's only one shop I like doing for this MSC until now... the Wal-Greens one sounds promising, so far as the shop itself being OK and the pay being suitable.

I've near seen any Walgreens shops from that MSC before either, but I've only been registered with them for about 3 months. I have done a restaurant and couple electronic stores shops for them, as well as a bunch of phone &/or internet shops. (I don't have the right vehicle for the auto service ones that they always seem to have here.)

None of the Walgreens locations near me were available, but I was able to get three of them, each one in a different city/direction. There were five showing when I started. After I selected one, the other one for that location disappeared, and now there aren't anymore available to me.

I haven't had a chance to read through the info yet except skimming it from my phone. I'm going to develop a question for each department and then probably use that same question at all three locations.
About the questions, that's what I do when I've shopped other multiple locations of the same store. Makes it easy to remember! However, be sure to make note of the answers right away, or it can be difficult to sort out who said exactly what. Usually you get virtually the same answer, but sometimes one person will add a little extra to it! smiling smiley

Completed the shop today - It wasn't difficult, but I recommend recording the visit. It will be a lot easier. You need a few quotes. Much narrative is expected, so be prepared to spend some time with the report. Minimum time in the store is 25 minutes. But midway through my report, the website quit, saying "service unavailable". I tried another browser with the same result. aagh I have til 10:00 am tomorrow.

I've got them on three different days, grouped with other shops... and I'll be recording. :-)
Just gotta get my questions together before I head out this (Sunday) afternoon.
No, I thought the shops stunk. My biggest beef was that even if the associates greet you within seconds with a cheerful, "Hello. How are you today," and then offers friendly assistance, if they don't specifically say, "Welcome to Walgreen's," you have to counte them as needing improvement. Also, a cheesy, "Thanks and be well" or just ""Be well," is supposed to be the parting remark. So if they say, 'Thanks and have a great day," in an enthusiastic tone of voice, you have to count them off. Ridiculous. A phrase like that, I am thinking someone wearing patchouli oil and a long robe, ringing a bell, chanting a mantra of, "Be well..."

Did you notice that they misspelled questionnaire at the top of the questionnaire? They have it in large font (one of the few words that is written in readable font on the page) as QUESTIONAIRRE. LOL!

I had my first one today. The pharmacy was closed! I went on the date and time assigned, and the store itself was open, but they are one of the ones that isn't open 24-hours.

I have to admit that I didn't realize where it was until today. This is a same area of the little town adjacent to the expensive yuppie suburb, located between "silicon valley-east" and the country club, where the vitamin shop closed an hour earlier than the website said and two hours earlier than normal retail hours. That was for a different MSC, and I was able to reschedule the shop after some back and forth with the scheduler and the editor. I used to say that they roll the street up at dark there, but on that side of town it isn't even dark yet! Anyway, the pharmacy was closed all day, not just closed early - at a Walgreens!

Oh - one associate did not his name on the tag in his lanyard - on either side, and no one used those silly "branded" phrases. I'm not sure what my report is going to look like, but I'm about to find out.
