True, but.......I had to cancel a couple of shops (before they were due) because of health issues. After shopping for them for a couple of years with no problems at all, I have not gotten the last three assignments that I applied for. One of them still has not been filled. This has never happened prior to cancelling those shops. I actually wrote the scheduler today, asking if there was a problem.

Hey, I 've done shops for them and am still doing ones for them. they have been great. there was one mix up just recently on which shop I was to do. the mix up came form two different e-mails and what was posted on the site as to which shop to do. As I did the wrong one according to the site, I sent an e-mail asking if they could still use the shop. Unfortunately it was at the wrong time that was needed for the location. However, the scheduler called me to verify when I did do it and to make sure there was no more confusion. the scheduler, then offered me the shop at another time with a bonus that made up for most of the miscommunicated shop. She also offered other shops with a bonus.

I would say that this company does what they can when there are problems to work with you.

LisaSTL, I'm sorry you are taking some of the brunt of this. There is absolutely no reason for that train to continue.
As an editor for one company and a shopper with MCP, let me just say that sometimes reading the posts about not being paid are amusing, especially when they are full of grammatical errors and misspelled words. The editors are not out to get you. If the report is not acceptable, the editor doesn't get paid either. All shops have specific instructions. If you do not follow them, you will probably not be paid.
Huh? Lisa, I have always been paid by all of those companies without ever having a problem. Was that sarcasm?

Oh yeah. Those are all companies the OP has accused of not paying.

Um, I think Lisa is just great at multitasking. Mnairus, it's not nice to judge people when you have absolutely no flippin' idea what you are talking about.

as turnaround time who know they state that their scheduler read 100 of of emails
so they try the best one
Wow, an attorney? How weird.

I've always received promptly from MCP. I hope you resolve the issue you're having !
mnairus. It looks like the various MSC's have your number. Perhaps you should try a different line of work.
Tell you what I will do for you -
Send me your contact info and I will be glad to deal with you and your attorney...:p

LOL... I was going to point out the many errors in the posts, but thankfully Kyninja did it for me. I understand that errors happen, and I am lost without spell check. That said, if I am going to complain about a report not being accepted, I'm going to do my best so that my post doesn't make me look like a nutcase. I would want people to see the Pulitzer style writing I was delivering so that they would believe it really was the mean ole MSP that was picking on me. I will echo the comments others have made about MCP... dependable and fast paying. I've shopped for 8 years and no problems to this point.

Mrcomputer I have a real job unlike you. My attorney would destroy you
You are right about one thing, we don't have "jobs." We are successful small business owners.

In fact, this is the fourth small business I have run successfully, the first two being owned by others and the last two owned by me. I almost forgot to mention this. One of those businesses was a law firm.

This mnarius guy must be a 12-year old posting on this forum. Thought that school gets out in June?
mnairus, I know you're having a hard time with what goes on here on the forum. We often disagree with each other and sometimes it's hard not to take it personally. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and their own attitudes, and that includes you as well as the rest of us. That said, it's a little over the edge to threaten lawsuits because of casual comments made on an internet forum. You're so intense about this that you've irritated others and as a consequence made yourself a target. A hostile and aggressive attitude will create a hostile and aggressive atmosphere. A controlled and considerate approach will usually get a controlled and considerate response. You are doing this to yourself. Please reconsider how you post on the forum in order to make the forum work for you instead of against you.

If your posts on this page are full of grammatical errors and misspelled words, I cannot imagine why you would have a problem with getting shops submitted. (Note the sarcasm.)

It's not worth $10 for what you have to do for them anyway
