Re: Whole Foods

Did one last week and have another one coming up. I was a bit daunted at first, but it's not any more complicated than other "high-end" grocery shops. AND, I like the free upscale food!

I have yet to see a Whole Foods shop. Does anyone know whether they are shopped in California.

I was looking for the Whole Food shops in Florida - did not find it, but I saw shops in San Francisco. It is very low paying. I'm still hunting down the "other" msc.

They are most definitely shopped in So. Cal., twice a month, but you need that EIN#.....it's been written on forum in detail.
I got one and since then have shopped WF often, love it.

I never see them (even with my EIN) in NoCal. However, I don't check the site daily, so I could easily miss it even if it's there. Maybe I'll look at the backup shops to see if it they offer these but they have been assigned already. Shops go very fast around here.
Whole Foods is shopped by more than one company. The company for which I shop does not require an EIN.
Hmm. I guess it's time to sign up for more MSC's.
At least in my area, you only need an EIN if you are registering as a new shopper. As a previously existing shopper, the only thing I can't do without an EIN is self-assign. However, even after the EIN requirement kicked in, I'm still able to get WF shops.
Well, I can see the Whole Foods in SoCal, but haven't seen them in NorCal at all. I am thinking this MSC shops WF here. I guess I'll keep looking.
Try the customer service only shops first to get the idea. They don't pay as much but also do not require much time. I started with these and got comfortable with the forms and requirements and then went on to the more comprehensive shops. I do them about once a month now for the good steaks.
They don't have those shops here. They truly seem to be different in different areas, at least as of recently.

I saw one in San Francisco, which is northern Cal. However, I live in Florida, so you can have it. :-)

They go fast and are on the board a couple tiems a month...with me I need to look constantly, but we have many around So. Cal.

The ones I've done were apparently for the "other" MSC. The form was the easier one, visit several departments and buy what you want. I liked them, but I would overthink them and it took me a while to write the reports. Not hard, though, per se.
I don't remember how I found the other MSC, but I had to e-mail them to apply. Nice people, very helpful. They are not on Sassie or Prophet. They send me an e-mail every month with jobs and I answer with my preferences.
I discovered the prepared entrees at Whole Foods, which was a great way to try out new dinner ideas.
