Cheesecake Factory Shop

Right now I have 4 $40 CCF gift cards sitting on my shelf. Next week I have a to-go, so I will get an item that costs $6, maybe $10 if I feel like splurging. For that I will get a $30 gift card. So I will have a $180 stockpile. I should have given some away at Xmas, but there was nobody I needed to give a gift to that I didn't already have something bought or made for them.

I have been working as a mystery shopper in Nevada for several years now. I work for the major companies out here, HS Brands, A Closer Look, QSI and BestMark. I was wondering if anybody could assist me in what companies mystery shop chain restaurants in Nevada. I know that Nevada is unique and that mystery shoppers do not like to do work for other shoppers as it can take a long time to find these companies, but I've researched this quite a bit with no luck. I'm wondering if these chain restaurants are shopped at all in Nevada. I really do appreciate any help. Thanks!
There are Nevada shoppers here who can help you with information. In Nevada, mystery shoppers are all employees rather than independant contracters.

You work for most of the companies, so you should be able to see most jobs. Not all jobs are visible to all people though.
I love the CCF carry-out jobs the best!

Is it possible to let me know who the Nevada shoppers are on this board? I'm aware that mystery shoppers are all employees here, I was unsure if that changed what shops were available to us though. I've been extremely happy as a mystery shopper in Nevada without chain restaurant shops, but it is part of the psyche of a mystery shopper I believe to find out exactly what is out there. If I find out that chain restaurants aren't shopped here, it wouldn't bother me much, and I guess if they were offered, but I just did not know about it, that would not bother me too much either. It would be nice to know though.

VinnyRoo, there are only 6 or 7 companies licensed to operate inside Nevada, the 4 that you mentioned have all the work in that state for all practical purposes.

Thanks for that! That was my suspicion, but it's good to get clarity on that. I am very curious why chain restaurants are not shopped out here then. It seems like a new MSC could get a lot of work here simply by performing shops for chain restaurants.
Getting licensed to be an MSC in NV is a VERY lengthy process (think year or two). The head of the PILB gave an interesting talk about it at the last IMSC. I'm afraid I didn't pay THAT much attention to the details on that but I did get the impression it could take some companies a year or two or more to go through the process.

Having said that, I'm absolutely certain at least one of those MSCs has chain restaurants.

Very interesting. Mystery shopping in Nevada is definitely a double-edged sword; although, on average, I think it is very beneficial to the shopper. Not only do we make more, but I feel a lot of potential shoppers never get started due to the licensing process. Since we do make more, I guess I have gotten a little spoiled as I am now very familiar with which MSC offers chain restaurants. I guess they just do not offer the ones I like to go to, and their pay is not the equivalent to the customary amount in Nevada. I also find it bothersome that it takes so long for a new MSC to get started here. I think we could be making even more money and have more shops available if the process did not take as long.
It doesn't really slow down the amount of shops available. Companies that have clients in NV but are not licensed there farm out those shops to companies that are. For instance if GargtuanMSC has some McShops in NV but they're not licensed in NV, then they'll get NVLicensedCO to handle their NV McShops for them.

I have observed that, but I guess I'm then wondering why a lot of chain restaurants that are shopped in other states are not shopped here. Perhaps I'm just missing some of these shops, and I'm wrongly assuming that they are just not shopped at all.
