Do you honestly expect somebody to take time out of their day to help you locate jobs in a town with a population of less than 5,000? Stop being lazy and do your own research.

I'm pretty sure I agree with doggie. I ask a lot of the folks I talk to on this forum, but I don't ask them to look for jobs for me to do.. I look for my own work, no one knows or needs to know, what I'm doing or where I'm doing it, except me and the MSC's that I'm doing the jobs for.

When I suspected an MSC was trying to cheat me out of work and lying to me about it I did ask if someone would look up the specific client in the specific area and see if the jobs I was looking for were there. And they were. But that company is no longer in business, and the companies that I currently work for don't have platforms that can exclude you from seeing the work that is available, whether you are eligible to do the jobs or not.

But why not look up work yourself? The tools are here to do it.

They certainly seem to know how to research random things, like reading folks' profiles to see if they are good people or bad people.. I'm willing to bet money that they can find their own jobs.

I never respond to these posts since I usually have no clue where the location is. After seeing 7 new responses to this, I figured there would be some sassy responses. smiling smiley

Amberng, you're not a new poster so you're probably aware of Presto, Gigspot, and iSecretShop. I usually check those since they have a "what's near me?" button and you can get a glimpse of what's near your new location.
