They could have paid that moneg out in executive bonuses; doing so would have the exact same tax benefit for the company.
The question to ask is why is a firm so well established in the marketing industry employing somoje so stupid as to think that advertising the low level of their charitable givings was a prudent thing to do.
Could it be because it was only advertised to us, and we don't count?
There's no doubt in my mind that $7.3k was generated by the folks who fell for the "click here to take our brief survey, and we'll donate .50¢ to charity!"
