Do I Have BO or Something?

I have been pondering this for almost a decade, as I've read post after post from forum shoppers, who have received a call from Samantha. I've been signed-up with Market Place for over 10 years, and yet have not received a single call or email from what's-her-name. Am I the only one?

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

First it's Marketforce. Are you sure they haven't deactivated you?

Do you get their dally shop announcements? Are you doing shops for them?

I never got Samantha offers until I got a call and did a bonused shop 70 miles from home. Suddenly I started getting Samantha offers almost dally for that location and also the local locations near me.
Maybe you have nailed it since I would never do a shop-bonused or otherwise-which involved driving 70 Miles!

The burger shop all in was $100. I picked up other shops from Coyle, Intelli-shop, Conferno and IPSOS in the same city that paid me another $180 plus reimbursement. I thought it was well worth the two and a half hour drive time..

I would have been able to make an additional $100 plus reimbursement if the RBG scheduler would have worked with me by extending the due date on the board by a day. NOPE!. But some of us here know they will not do that to spite certain shoppers. A week later I saw the shops I asked to have the dates changed bonused as no shopper had done them. Their loss not mine.
Don't feel bad. In my many years of mystery shopping I can probably count on my 10 fingers the number of times I have been called about a shop offer. And usually it was someone who lived in a foreign country and thought I could just get to somewhere for a $2 bonus that was 10 miles as the crow flies but a very slow 15 mile ride on various freeways crisscrossing to get to there. I think it is mostly the non city dwellers who shop jobs that are harder to fill that get the calls. But oh yes years and years ago when I shopped for Gapbuster they used to call me all the time and offer bonuses but then they all got fired it seemed on the same day and they fired me too.
There are some shops that are about 2 hours away from my house that the Market Force has trouble filling on a regular basis. I used to do them for $50 if there was other work in the area, or I would make a special trip for a hundred dollars, better not since covid started. They don't bonus the shops the way they used to and they don't ever seem to have any other work in the area for me to do, so I don't do them and Market Force stopped calling. I don't get Samantha emails anymore either.
Girls don't like it when you call them by the wrong name.

It is ok Samantha always lowballs me and offers the shop for less than I will do any shop for this client. "hey baby, can I offer you a single dollar above self assigning on the board and then you probably won't get it anyway since this is sent out to tons of other potential suitors"
RBG is like that sometimes. They are great when everything goes according to plan. If you need to change something they can get a little spiteful. No worries. I am passing two of their Global gas stations sites today and not slowing down. Maybe if they bonus them. Still, If I drove 2 1/2 hours each way, I was told I can have a shop they can't seem to ever fill.
“Samantha” doesn’t call. You get emails from “her,” and reply back with dates if you’re interested.
And Samantha only emails me to shop at only one client, out of all the clients they work with.

Stilllearning, I’d wonder, too. Could be that competition among shoppers for MF shops in your area is fierce. Another thing that comes to mind is how your account with MF is set up. Do they have your correct email addy, landline and/or cell phone numbers? It’s been so long ago for me that I forgot, so I logged in to see my preferences for being contacted, ie phone, text or email. Couldn’t see where that was noted, though it seems likely I just overlooked it.

Ten years is a very long time to have received zero contact. Possibly consider emailing their help desk, or messaging mfisherri who posts here on behalf of MF.
