Sounds like they paired up with a time share company... the fine print of the vacation prize probably says you have to attend a presentation, lol
I see nothing shady about offering a discount. It is not like you have to do it. I would love to be offered discounts (of more than 10%) at some of the clients I have shopped as long as the discounts do not identify me with the msc. But wow, if I could get, lets say a 10% discount on lunch with a massage thrown in, or maybe a free appetizer, when I go on my own dime. But if this starts they should have a separate promotions email you can turn on or off.
Are they merged with another MSC? I got a text from them and I don't have an account with them as far as I know.

Intouch Insite bought/merged with SeeLevel middle of last year or so.
Unless I missed it, I didn't get that email. However, I have seen various companies team up and offer employee and/or client type discounts, which I have taken advantage of before. It is generally a win/win kind of deal.
