Merchandising Scaffolding at Blue Big Box Store

Has anyone done one of these for Sentry?

How much time is involved and is it worth it at the $35 shop pay? It seems like it could be easy if the display is set up. Or a pain in the butt to get an employee to set it up while you are doing the shop.

Thanks.

The guidelines state that they would like you there before 10 am or after 5 pm. It's not specifically stated as a mandatory requirement, but I would be leery about doing one, because my normal shopping hours are between noon and 4 pm! I also wondered if the price is fairly decent just because they want you to make sure the display is set up, and how difficult that may be to get an employee to set one up. But at least it looks like the questions do allow for giving a reason that one could not be set up. I'd like to know if anyone did this also. At least it does not require US to set the display up!!!
I was going to go and see if it’s already there before signing up, and then hopefully self assigning on the spot.

No way in heck would I want to wait around for them to get the materials if they’re not set up already. That could easily take an hour. They’re busy and don’t want to help for small things. They’re not going to drop everything for a 5-10 item display at 9am or 5pm

Hard pass unless it’s just verifying it’s all there.

Check the app or online first to see the inventory?
I agree with both of you. I was thinking about adding it to a route. If it's already set up, you're in and out. If you have to wait for them to pull it down and set it up it could easily be an hour or two.

And, before 10 and after 5 would be the times that contractors would be coming in to get or return rental equipment' That's the department where you have to have them move the item to if it's somewhere else in the store. In other words, when the employees in that department would be busiest and least likely willing to help by setting up a display.
Scouted it out.

5 in stock online (in store)

Not where it should be .

Back to online. Check aisle. Not there at all.

Ok so you’d have to yell at the employee to go find it and put it out. “Sure buddy. Get right on it.”

You ask the employee to set it up, if they refuse, or state they will do it in the future you have a form signed and upload it to the shop form. Most visits have. been about 20 - 30 minutes. They just have to place them on the floor, there is no display to be built. Just thought I would let you know.
