Gigsot - Can I get out?

I've searched the forum and the only posts I find are quite old, so I'm asking again.

Is there a way for me to cancel my Gigspot account and work directly with the MSCs? There are a handful of MSCs I prefer and would rather not go through the Gigspot platform.

It is possible, or at least it was a couple of years ago when I did it, but I can't remember how.

Just email gigspot and ask. That should do it.

I had to email them for instructions to cancel my account, but that was 5 or 6 years ago

Its really crappy that one must choose either Gigspot or the standard Shopmetrics platform.

Who would ever want to write a Coyle report, for example, on a phone?

I have an assignment with Mercantile that is on gigspot. I don't get any reminders of shop coming up (like I do with Sassie shops). I know it's on shopmentrics, but i want to say I have received shopmetrics notifications. I don't do many shops on shopmetrics, so I don't really remember.

Gigspot BLOWS!!! But I've been too lazy to remove myself and I don't do many shops with their MSC list.

Email them at info@gigspot.com and tell them you want to cancel and go direct with the MSC's. Be prepared to wait six weeks to six months for a response.

Also be prepared that they likely won't disconnect you from all of them and you'll have to attempt to contact them again. And then wait again for a response.

Yeah, Gigspot is no bueno.

Doing assignments since the days when reports were handwritten and faxed to the MSC.

I emailed them Wednesday 7/27 and got a response in less than 24 hours. I asked to have my profile deleted. I checked and it was no longer on gigspot. When I logged in directly to a few of the companies, i could see the available shops.
