marketforce offer ignored?

There are 3 shops same location, same dates, same fees, with "make an offer". I put in an offer on one, for today. It's been a couple of hours, and I have had no response - (neither accepted nor denied), and don't see any evidence that I made an offer (by email or on the board - maybe that is normal on their board)? In any case, I need to leave soon, it's in an area I will only be today.

So my question is this: since I am not hearing anything back, can I just accept one of the other listings at the rate offered? What happens to the offer? I assume even if they accepted it, I would have to confirm, it wouldn't just get assigned automatically?

If you go back to the job board and find the shop, and try to MAO and or accept it, it should have AT THE TOP of the page a green (I believe that is the color) note saying you already applied for the shop. Then it is still pending. If someone else got it they don't advise you of that.
Interesting. There were 3 listings, exactly the same. After I made an offer, there were only 2. Now I see that they both say offer declined. Okay then, so now I know! But before that, there was no indication, it just looked like I could accept the shop. I didn't go any further because wasn't sure. Anyway, thank you for your help! I'm still learning!

The offers go thru an approval process; sometimes fast, sometimes longer. You can accept one of the other listings at the offered rate, but if you don't see "declined" on the one you made an offer on, it could still be assigned. On the "offer accepted" shops with MF there is no confirmation process, e.g. the shops are automatically assigned.
Sometimes when I travel I'll search for shops where I'll be, like you for the day.

If there are MAO shops, I make an offer.

I check the MF website to find out if they accepted my MAO. If its been rejected, I may or may not take the shop at the posted rate if I need a meal.. If you accept it at the posted rate, you might tick off shoppers waiting for a higher bonus.

You will then get offers in the future for that location if it is hsrd to fill.

You can still accept the shop at the current pay, even after they declined your offer. And i think you can make another offer. You can also call the scheduler and tell them that you will be there, or are on site and they will push it through for you.
thanks all - very helpful advice! I did accept one - it was actually already increased, so I'm not surprised the offer was declined (even though it wasn't much). I just thought I would try. Next time I'll know what to do now that I know their system better.
Don't accept Marketforce shops for less fees than you really want because you'll be locked into that amount in the future. It will be difficult to get them to go higher. They will just tell you that you did it for less before.

This happened to me. I was crushing it for this area. $25 each time. Now they’re stingy. They don’t want to budge. Ever. So I’m trying to build back to that amount as a minimum. There is a location with maybe 10 posts now. No takers. They’re not budging. Do they not have deadlines?
I haven't taken one of their hamburger shops for quite some time. Several months ago I was also getting $25 per location. Now they won't offer more than $18. Although the money was nice, not eating all the fat and carb calories is better for my diet.

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product. Eleanor Roosevelt
What infuriates me is the schedulers calling, all the time it seems, then offering less than the job is posted for.
