Market Force - Is Late Dinner and Dinner considered the same meal period?

Question is in the title.

Can anyone confirm this on their end for past shops?

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.

I believe late night is referring to arriving within the last 30 minutes they are open but I don't know what qualifies as a late dinner.

Both are options when filling in the report along with lunch and dinner..

Yes. Is it considered a conflicting meal period that’ll trigger a rejection if a dinner shop and a late dinner shop is done. Probably not, just curious on others’ experience on it.

Just looked at my instructions from 8/12 and it states:

"IF YOU ARE ASSIGNED A LATE DINNER SHOP, start your shop 20-30 minutes before closing time (e.g., if the location closes at 4pm, start your shop between 3:30-3:40 pm).
If they close later than 10 pm, start any time before closing but no earlier than 9:30 pm."
Egad, how I wish all guidelines were so precise!
Interesting. So received the email back from their Help Desk. They specifically stated performing a Dinner (4:15-9:15 PM) and a Late Dinner (15-30 minutes before closing) on the SAME day is NOT allowed.

You can really consider this NOT conflicting due to their different time frames typically (basically all the locations in my area close at 10 pm, and the meal periods don't conflict with each other. But oh well.

I'm leery of the late dinner shops because the locations don't always observe the hours on their websites. I could call ahead, but I always feel like that's almost alerting them that a mystery shopper is going to come in. Plus I just hate talking on the phone.
Call about Noon and just ask for their hours. Even better, call a day in advance.

With many restaurants having staffing issues, it's not unusual to call and ask a restaurant what their hours are or what time they're closing tonight.
You're right, I guess it's not that unusual for people to call -- but with short-staffing, it's also not unheard of for restaurants to close early and not abide by their own stated hours if they're not busy as it nears official closing time.
