This may be the deal killer for me. One of my camera's has a date stamp but no time stamp. My "better" but older camera has neither. I'll e-mail them and see what they say.

Yes, my awful little Kodak EasyShare has the date stamp but does not show the time. My old Sony Cybershot which is a much better camera in my opinion has not time stamp. So I used the Kodak, night photos were streaky but date stamped. I submitted unretouched and unrenamed photos so they would have the date and time on the file. It has been 'published' but not yet approved.
I have the almost the same setup as you. I have a kodak easyshare m340 and a Sony cybershot H5. The kodak has date stamp only and Sony has nothing. I'm going to look at my MIL's camera and see what it has. Apparently date AND time stamp is not as common a feature as I thought.
I found a wonderful little program that you can download for 20.00 that reads the file from the camera and puts the date and/or time on the pictures. Well worth the money. PM me if you want the info.
I'm lost, just got back and date and time do not show up on my inexpensive camera....have to tell them, hate this. Not being a savy photographer, guess I'll have to invest in a decent camera that does it all.

Live consciously....
My MIL's Nikon L18 does have an option for date and time imprint. I just tested it and it does actually stamp the information on the image when it's taken. This is not an expensive camera so I guess it's hit or miss on whether this feature is present on a given camera.
The thing is this is a silly requirement as you can set the time and date on the camera to anything you want.
My expensive camera won't directly show the date/time either. There is something about ruining a good picture with the time/date stamp. However there is software with the camera that will display it on the computer screen, but it still won't show up if you save or print the pics. However I just take a screen shot on my computer and save it.

Look into the possibility of a download from your camera's manufacturer before making a purchase.

Okay, someone tell me about signing up with a company, please? I need to sign up, I have a gmail account I access from my Android, and I am trying to register at a company site.

No hints from me, MsLynn, as I don't have a smartphone.

I self assigned my first one with them tonight...I can't believe where I'm going. I was just there today. But the shop wasn't posted till now. So it looks like I'm going back. Pay is very good, and what I have to do is very reasonable. the store is one of my more favorite places, so I'm happy just to do this. It is, how do I describe what I'll be doing? A destination store, and wow, I never ever in my life thought I would mystery shop it. But what I have to do, is having to do with the credit card application area. Very interesting shop this will be.

Would someone please post the login link. I received a message from them about shops in my area and lost it. I know I am signed up with them but lost login link.
Unfortunately my two assignments didn't go very well. The assignments seemed very simple. Take daytime and a nighttime photos of a billboard. I had no trouble finding the billboards but getting the pictures was a different story. One was on a very busy 4 lane highway and the only place to take a picture from was from a big car dealers lot across the street. I got the daytime photos by driving slowly thru the dealers lot and stopping to take pictures. I couldn't get close enough to take the required close-up so I just zoomed in as best I could. I saw then and there that the nighttime pix would be impossible without trespassing on the car dealers lot while they were closed.
The other billboard was almost on the property of an auto salvage yard on another busy 4 lane highway and the neighborhood was pretty bad. The daytime shot went OK but when I went back for the nighttime shots between the guard dogs at the salvage yard and the characters hanging around the area I decided my personal safety was a little more important than the shop fee and did not get out of my car. Unfortunately there was no vantage point to take the the pictures from the car. I had to cancel both assignments.
That is too bad. I feel very lucky that here there is a grassy area to pull off of most busy roads and if the curb is not too high, I can pop the truck up over it without damage. I have had kindly folks (I hope) stop to offer assistance when they saw my truck on the side of the road at night, but otherwise no issues. The folks stopping to offer assistance is why my significant other insists on driving me to the night time shoots. He drives, I get out of the truck to take the photos or he puts on the hazard lights and 'limps along' while I get them out the passenger window.
I did by first night time shop last night. Other than having a carload of guys yell at me on the way by things went fine.

I could see how in some areas those could be a little nerve racking.

If I were on my own, I would probably roll down the window and just take them without getting out of the car.
Here they have provided some amusement. My favorite was the night shop next to a pasture. It was that proverbial 'dark and stormy night' though the rains had not yet started and it was hot enough I had the truck windows down. I pulled off on the side of the road, hopped out, got my photos and hustled back into the truck only to find that a cow had gotten out of the barbed wired pasture next to the truck and had her head half way in my truck window. Talk about spooked! There is no end to the excitement of mystery shopping :-)
