@SoCalMama That's what I thought! But Im new to this so wishful thinking on my part... Did they just refund your CC or separately? I can see that totally being worth it to put on a milage/cashback card if they riemburse through paypal. I've never done one of these types but just today I found a watchshop for like 3-4K through the ishop portal. It makes me a bit nervous, though. Any advice or experience you can share on these types of shops?
They wired me the money. I did get a lot of points/miles obviously. Some cards were cash back, which was also nice. I had to rotate cards, since I can't put all of that on one card. I have 8 cards to use. I know this because I had to rotate for gas stations all weekend.
@SoCalMama Thank you for your reply! It seemed a little scammy at first since it required me purchasing something and senidng it to another address, especially with it being a high dollar item. However, the shop is through a portal I have done other shops with. Would you mind if I PM-ed you just to see if you shopped with this MSC before and it can be trusted?
Bunny I don't think it's a scam, but I also don't think the assignment you are talking about pays enough to put that much money on your credit card. Too many possibilities of something going wrong.

I wouldn't do that to @SoCalMama

I don’t know which shop you’re looking at, but the only large MSC I would not trust with that kind of money would be Intellishop.
or Cirrus.

They would pay. It just takes 3-4 months.

@ShoppersViewChristine I just checked and realized that I am signed up with you but there are no shops within 200 miles of me. Do you ever have shops in NY?

@MisterBill We have had shops in NY in the past, but I don't think we have in a couple of months. We do have phone shops all over the country though! You can view these on the Job Board by expanding the radius out to 999, clicking on Additional Filters, and using the Project Type drop-down menu to select Phone. Otherwise, you should receive an email if there is a shop posted within 30 miles of the zip code listed in your address. You can also add up to 5 area codes to your profile to make the range a bit wider (we alternate sending emails out to zip codes and area codes). We're always looking for new clients, so you never know what's around the corner! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns! You can also always reach us at shoppers@shoppersview.com or 800-264-5677.

Actually Trendsource pays the 5th and the 20th of each month.

@SoCalMama So did you have to return the items? I did find something for like a 4K watch shop but you needed to return back to the client warehouse.

Yes, of course. They weren't going to let me keep $250,000 worth of jewelry.

It's been a whole day and I see no one has commented on how SoCalMama's $25,000 turned into $250,000. But I did hear inflation is on the horizon so maybe that explains it. lol

I'm sorry. I thought that I mentioned that I did this for them ten times. I know that I have mentioned it in the past.
So, 10 X $25,000 = $250,000.

Yes, I got a lot of points and cash back on this job.
Oh you did mention 10 x but I guess I thought that meant 10x $2,500 was how it got you up to 25,000. You bought 10 $25,000 pieces of jewelry? Wow.
