Maritz offers

So I made an offer on a bundle of shops. It was a fair offer. I get a voice mail stating they are counter offering what is on the website. IF I WAS WILLING TO ACCEPT WHAT WAS ON THE WEBSITE I WOULD NOT HAVE SUBMITTED AN OFFER...oh well hope they find someone else

That's okay. I did a dumber one. Shops were offered online with incentive. I countered. No answer. I called and let the team member know I'd be in the area and would take the shops for the offer online (which was not enough, but I needed the gas.) Did them, entered them, and realized the invoice was for the lowest amount they initially offer. It's only a matter of ~$30 and not worth being on a "troublemakers" list, but I won't make that error again.

You only get incentives if you schedule it yourself or a supervisor has someone call you with an offer. When you call in to the schedulers, they can only give you the base price with no incentive. It is a crappy system, with schedulers autonomy several grades lower than any other company I've shopped with.
that’s crazy that they called you to say that. i thought they’re not even able to see the incentive on the site? i made a bundle request on the site the other day. they called and countered $80 less, but we ended up meeting in the middle.
I've made offers for most of a year without any being accepted or assigned. Some of those offers were at the base pay. Finally, I was able to self-assign a few shops, but when I went to enter my completed shops, one of them was taken from me with no notice or explanation and now I cannot self-assign again. I've never had this issue with any other MSC. I've written several emails without a response. I'm about done with Maritz at this point.
I don't try to negotiate with them online anymore. I also don't call them. I wait for them to call me and then I tell them why I won't do the shops without a bonus. They either offer me a bonus or not, and I accept the offer, or not. I do it this way with them now because doing it any other way has proven unproductive and even frustrating for me. I'm lucky in that I have many more shop opportunities in my area that are both more profitable and available to me if I want to do them.

I promise you that they call me at work every morning as soon as I am doing something like: Pouring acid, distilling something, doing an extraction, etc. Super convenient.

I turn off my phone (or at least the ringer) if I am in the middle of something and don't want to be distracted, and I definitely have my favorite schedulers over there. They don't waste my time.

I hate it when one of their schedulers won't answer my questions about pay/bonus first and instead asks me all the qualifying questions. THEN he tells me he is only offering base pay.

Look, buddy. If I were interested in taking a shop at base pay, I would have scheduled it online. Give me a break.
Thanks for the feedback. I now have a much better understanding of how Maritz works, and I look forward to working with Maritz more often.

Is the “incentive fee” in addition to the “standard fee,” or is that the total fee?

Apologize for piggy backing, I didn’t want to be annoying and start a new thread for one question.
The incentive fee is in addition to the standard fee, and your questions are welcome here.
Their new system is given them a bundle price so when you enter your incentive amount make sure it includes the calculated pay for the only see your bid amount. The people that are in charge are liking this new system for they look at their budget amount and figure out what amount they want to pay and this is way they are countering your offer with, most times if your numbers where in line they will give you the budle. Out of the last three months using the new web site is the only way I have been able to get any routes and out of the routes I have submitted I have had counter offers on 90% of them. My wife went and applied for on shop adding a small amount to equal to the pay the last time she had done the shop and they would not give her the shop until the had given a verb agreement I have not had any calls like they did in 2017 about offering shops
