There is a MOD Pizza job in Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 that says BOTH $12 and $18 on the same assignment. Anyone want to go look at it and explain it to me?
M:aybe high rent area's pay more as they don't have enough shoppers.

There are plenty of shoppers. I just think that the job is $12, even though it says $12 on one spot and $18 on the other.

Hard to fill areas in OC are Corona Del Mar, Newport Coast, San Clemente and RSM. I don't think that you can find a house in Corona Del Mar for less than 3 million.

Regardless, I am only open for dinner three days in Feb now. I'm doubting that MOD Pizza is going to come out on top for me.

Coming late to this party to reflect on the reimbursement amts and locations. The harder to shop locations in the big city of Los Angeles seem to be mostly the low rent areas and places where parking is a big and expensive issue. There are probably less people living in those areas who have all the expensive equipment necessary to mystery shop these days and since driving here is time consuming those of us who live a few neighborhoods over and find very few shops to pair with those locations it is not worth the time necessary to get there. For my pizza shop it is USC (in a low income area) and Hawthorne (also low income but up and coming since Elon Musk is there now employing lots of higher income people) and Farmers Mkt where parking can take 15 minutes just to find a spot. This is not for MOD but for the similar pizza place mentioned.
Time to add 1 to the list - for those in SoCal.................El Pollo Loco. These shops are now so criminally easy it is laughable. NO writing at all. Report takes 5 minutes. if it takes 10 it is only because you fell asleep for 5 minutes. And best of all new guidelines now allow you to order ANYTHING - even Shrimp. These reports don't pay much but as easy as they are the pay is very nice.

I now steer away from all the pizza shops because of the rejection rate, the picture quality they require, and the picky guidelines for what you can order. The first rejection I got was for some very bad and expensive sandwiches that I would have never ordered in the first place. I got to pay for them myself because some of the wrapper was out of the picture.

Not sure if you are a new shopper or just new to the forum but most of the pizza shops we are talking about do not have picky picture editors and limited food choices. So keep shopping and look for more upscale pizza places. They do require much more narrative than the one with the picky pictures. You should practice getting the entire picture in your frame by taking a bunch of pics at home and then looking at a larger version to see if all is included. Many restaurant shops require pics and want you to get every thing in. Sometimes it is difficult to see what is included on the smaller screen so practice makes perfect and be sure to understand the guidelines...they are spelled out in detail and they are different for each job..eg 90 degree angle vs 45 degree angle. Also figure out how to get a pic that is clear and without shadows at home before doing a job.
I went ballistic on them trying to toget accurate timings so they dropped me . 6 months passed and I pleaded with them to take me back. Reluctantly they did. Now I record the shop and can get the timings they want. They are vwry long for the reimbursements. I appreciate that they took me back.
