DSS and June, this is a little weird

Well of course I have never been paid for my July or August shops for DSS, but I really do love the sub place that June schedules for, and she is now scheduling for this month. I contacted her saying I will go out on faith and do some this month and she writes back that I am not in the data base. HELLO! Yes, I have done about seven of these for you already. I am in the database. Weird?

Can you sign into the website? It may be that you have been terminated since somehow you expected to be paid for your work.
Carol, those sandwich's can't cost that much, go have one, no fret, no stress. PrivateEyes also does a good sandwich shop, try them.

Flash, Irene, you are both so funny. Terminated because I expected to get paid? Having a no stress sandwich? Cute. Yes, I am in the database with shops completed right there. I will check out the Private Eyes, however. Speaking of eyes, I have conjunctivitis, (pink eye), and had to cancel a shop today in order to go in to the doctor. I won't be going to my regular job tomorrow either. The doctor thought I shouldn't unless I was wearing sunglasses and that simply won't do for where I work. I'm not a lifeguard. smiling smiley It will be nice to have a quiet day to rest and maybe get something done around the house.

So far, so good. It is after noon and I am still in my pj's.
The last contact I received was from June At Ramack saying that "I was a Jerk" since I expected to be paid for July. She was giving the big line about how Melissa was supporting a family and that her husband was out of work.
Other shoppers tell me that June has told them, that Melissa in now not speaking with June either.
As part of the "jerk" email, June promised to pay me out of her pocket. That was a week ago, still no payment.

So as far as I am concerned, both of these companies are less than truthful or honorable.

If you take work from Ramack Scheduling or Direct Scheduling, please reconsider; and just send the money you would have spent on travel and any purchases to your local disabled veteran’s organization. You will not need to try to collect and a disabled or disfigured veteran will get some needed help.

As far as June and Melissa go, I am going to make the money the owe me and others haunt them for the rest of their lives. I am in the process of getting judgments on both of them. I was very patient and reasonable until the mistruths and false directing of blame starting erupting out of my inbox from these two.

Please pardon future posts, but I am going to try to warn all shoppers about the webs of lies and deceit that are being spun by these two.

As for Melissa supporting a family and her husband out of work, does June live in a a fairytale land where she thinks that is a unique situation? It is getting to the point where I know more households where one wage earner is either just reemployed at a significantly lower wage, still unemployed or under the axe of a pending layoff.

Missing payment for June work is indeed not acceptable, so I certainly understand why you are taking the course you are taking.
Vanster...I'm truly upset that June spoke like that...while I like others have had our problems, she was never rude. June's husband does very well, so, maybe she is out of touch with folks wanting their money, but, it won't be long before she'll be out of business, or looking for yet another job speaking to shoppers like that! She needs to apologize.

Neither will reply to my e-mails which I send every second or third day asking politely when I will be paid. I have not, as of this writing, been called a jerk. Go, Van!

Wow. I am at a loss for words in regards to June calling a shopper a jerk. Who does this woman think that she is? I have been reading the postings about DSS and June for the last several months and have just sat back and stayed quiet. I know that people/companies go through hard times. Especially now. We have all felt the pain of this economy in some way shape or form. But to make up excuse after excuse after excuse as to why you have not been paid, after months of being told that you would be is not only upsetting to you all that are waiting for payment, but upsetting for me as well, as these two ladies are giving this industry a really bad name. I have heard some crazy things about June over the years in terms of how she is with the clients she schedules for, but actually calling a shopper a jerk, for asking about a payment that is owed to her, crosses a line that should never be crossed. No matter what role you play in this industry, it all boils down to customer service. If you cannot treat the people with respect that you count on the most, and are your most valuable resource (the shoppers) then you need to get out and do something else. While I can understand that June may be under some stress due to being associated with DSS, that is still something that she needs to handle with professionalism and respect. Her behavior is disgusting. Melissa and June need to come forth with the truth. No matter what the real reason is behind not getting your shopper payments, being told excuse after excuse only makes the situation worse. The only way that this can be stopped is for shoppers to not work with them, and reporting to the MSP's that they schedule for that they are not getting paid. Are any of the MSP's that she schedules for members of the MSPA? If so, you can report this to the MSPA as well. I have said this a million times and will say a million times more, you shoppers are the only reason that any of us have jobs. There are not enough thank yous in the world to show just how much I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thank you. I write usually about every other day, sending her copies of her previous e-mails, such as "July will be paid this week, just waiting for paypal to clear", huh? As far as I know paypal does not need time to clear. You send the funds, the funds are there. Also, Aug shops will be paid mid October. Take a look at the calender it is almost the end of Oct.
Here is the latest in the battle. After June called me a "Jerk" and promised to pay me out of her pocket. I still have not gotten a dime. However, I did get an Email from June asking me to start shopping for a new MSC Client of her's.

It will be a cold day in Plymouth, Wisconsin before I ever do anything that has her name on it again. Wait a minute, June lives in Plymouth, Wisconsin and I do believe it gets very cold there....So I had better just say never never never again.

Called/emailed BBB; waste of time, they won't get involved. This is what they suggest though.

We have received your complaint. Unfortunately, this complaint falls outside of our scope of activities. The Better Business Bureau does not handle business-to-business or business-to-consumer non-payment issues. We only handle complaints from consumers about businesses. In this case, you would either need to hire an attorney or a collection agency to recover the amount you are seeking. This is not the type of dispute our complaint process is meant to resolve, nor would it be the type of dispute we would include in the business’ report.

If anyone is going to file anything please let me know. I sent a letter to Melissa in the mail and told her I WOULD file fraud charges against her as she is soliciting people for work and not paying them, forget civil charges for not paying. We shall see.
Its the principle of the matter; like I said, I don't screw people and I don't like to see people who have gone and done the work and then not get paid by an idiot who can't even be grown up enough to send an email explaining the situation and is a liar.
Shoppers really need an avenue of support...MSPA where are you when your needed.
