I just went on your site and same thing...it said 2 jobs available, but part with jobs doesn't come up.....I'm sure you know about it, speaking won't help......

This may be a dumb question, but how do I review photos before submitting the final shop? When I attach them in the form they all looked like they were going in the same place. Maybe it was just this one type of evaluation(bank) but it was not really clear if they were attached correctly and in the right places.
Hi, Can you please call our office at 1-800-782-4299 to speak to someone about the issues you are having with photos?
Hooray, the site works, but is confusing as to what bank is shopped, name not shown I called three times and no one available to answer my questions. I applied, will see what happens, slowly but surely we're getting somewhere.....

o.k. I'm on and could self assign a bank job, which surprised me in a good way.....whatever the glinch, it seems fixed now......

Live consciously....
Yes, I too was able to assign myself to two bank shops. However, the website now says there are 32 shops available in my area, BUT NONE ARE VISIBLE TO ME. Argh.

How cab you assign to more than one, aren't they all the same bank, if so, how do you open more than one account????

They're different shops, different banks. I can self assigned to the blue Banks.

We have heard numerous questions around finding new shops on our website and would like to offer the following tips:

If you are not seeing shops on your map or in our list view, our website will only display shops that you are eligible for based on your profile information. To see shops in the list view that are further than 20 miles away, you can currently zoom out on the map view and click “Search Area” to see out a greater distance. If you switch back to the list view, all of the locations you were seeing will now be visible.

If you see shops in the list view, but not on the map view, the locations may be north or south of your current map view. You can click on the map to move north and south or zoom out on the map to see the locations not initially visible.

We are still working on an enhancement that will allow you to specify a mileage to search for on both the map and the list view. We will let you know as soon as this is released.
I received a call from Maritz advising me that there were shops in my area that I was not only qualified for that I have worked multiple times. I immediately went onto the website and it said there was 32 shops available but there was absolutely nothing either on the map or the list. I called maritz and was told that they saw the same thing I was looking at with no explanation as to why the employee had called me 10 minutes earlier.

I can understand the possibility of some other shop or grabbing those shops that might have been available and that's why I didn't see them. But that wouldn't explain why the website said there was 32 shops available in my immediate area.

Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry you're having a hard time with finding shops. I've forwarded your message to the team so that we can try to fix this.
So, here is my dilemma: The January shops for the "Blue" gas station have been assigned. For me, I typically string most of mine out to the last week of the month. Therefor, most of mine are due January 14 to 20.
with the old website, I was able to perform these shops within the time frame of the beginning of the month to the third week. I understand that this is no longer the case.

So my dilemma is, do I call and ask for some of the shops to be scheduled into other weeks?

How did you get yourself banned from gas station shops?!

I have no idea! Last time I did them I was living on Long Island and did a few every month. Mostly I did banks for them. But there are none of those up here either. I was doing big blue box stores until they lost them and the discount grocery store until they lost them too.
There is always a possibility that we might be able to adjust the dates of the shops, but several factors play a role in determining weekly quotas that have been put in place on projects. You are free to call and discuss with a MaritzCX scheduler, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to adjust the dates. Given that you are hoping to perform them earlier than you currently have them scheduled, there is more of a chance MaritzCX will be able to accommodate.
Martix...thank you, I received a very nice phone call when you told me I hadn't worked with you since 2008, and I got the bank job...
Starting the new year out right, and looking forward to it....glad we worked it out...smiling smiley

We’ve heard your requests and are pleased to announce we have updated both the map and the list view of the “Find New Shops” webpage to include the ability to specify a mileage to look for shops. The current design will let you specify an area of 20 miles, 50 miles or 100 miles.

If you are not seeing shops on your map or in our list view, our website will only display shops that you are eligible for based on your profile information!

If you see shops in the list view, but not on the map view, the locations may be north or south of your current map view. You can click on the map to move north and south or zoom out on the map to see the locations not initially visible.
I love the new website. My biggest problem with the old site was even though I put a radius of 50 miles it kept showing me jobs in West Virginia and parts farther away. I live in Kentucky. This new site has it perfect. I hated to see jobs paying much more than what I was getting and could not do because of the distance.

The 100 mile radius doesn't work for me. I frequently travel more than 100 miles to visit relatives, and like to pick up a few gas station shops and perhaps a lunch shop on the way. I loved being able to find shops as much as 250 miles away. A few times, I even traveled to Louisiana from my home in Texas because I could do several shops with huge bonuses, making the long drive worthwhile. With the new website, I haven't found a single shop worth my time. Living in a rural area, I need to bundle several shops to make any of them worth it.
I miss Maritz, but probably won't invest any more time trying to search. I tried putting alternative zip codes, but can't seem to get any results.
How do I assign a shop?. The old site had a "get shops" button, but I don't see any way to assign on this site.

To assign a shop, click on "find new shops" at the top of the page then "search by location" from the drop down menu. Put in your zip code or the zip code of the location you want to shop and shops will appear. Click on the shop you want on the map and select "add to bundle." If you are in list view, simply check the box next to the shop you want. Then scroll down and click "calculate pay" then "agree and continue." A box will pop up for you to select the date you will complete the shop, once selected click "submit bundle" and you have your shop!

With the mapping feature, it is possible to search much further than 250 miles. Simply move the map to the area you wish to find shops and click “Search this Area”. Utilizing the zoom feature along with the “Search this Area” you can see every shop between your location in Texas and where you would like to go in Louisiana. Then if you like using the list view, you can click the “List View” button and the list will show all locations that were marked on the map. Using this functionality, you could potentially go out 500 or more miles. If you are wanting to keep to shopping just at the locations found along certain highways, you can keep the zoom feature zoomed in and continually search along the highway to find all of the shops between point “A” and “B” that are near the highway.

Not according to the just released Green&Yellow gas guidelines. They are such a mess it's impossible to pass the quiz. I'm going to miss doing $10 gas station audits.

They haven't updated their guidelines to reflect the new website's abilities. On the addendums for the blue and white it says unframed perimeter signs ok, but helpdesk said no so.....shrugs

This did not work for me. I'm traveling to Asheville, NC next week. For starters, the onsite map is limited in how far you can zoom out. I had to drag the map over a half dozen times to center in on Asheville. After zooming in twice I hit the "List View" button I was presented with the list of shops in my home area (Utah). Very frustrating!

Hi, Can you please call our office at 1-800-782-4299 to speak to someone about the issues you are having
Years ago, when I first started working with Maritz, I had an enlightening conversation with one of their schedulers. She explained how their system worked, reviewed many of the links and best of all, gave me valuable hints on how to perform my shops.
I suspect she was once a shopper.

Probably the best and most valuable information was how to schedule my shops. For shops that asked me if I wanted to perform the shop again (according to their shopper guidelines - every other month) she said to schedule those shops out to the third week. She said there would be a link on the particular shop's report where I could report the shop earlier than the third week. She said that as long as I performed and reported the shop within that allotted time (beginning of the month to the third week), Maritz would look favorable on me and I would receive a good shopper rating.
She said it was especially helpful for shoppers who might experience some sort of emergency and would not be able to perform the shop as planned. The emergency could be anything from an unexpected car breakdown, illness, weather related problem, etc. I found the advice she gave extremely helpful since I have experienced situations such as those.
She emphasized that the "enter results" link for each shop was okay to use on most shops unless, the client specifically stated the time period in which I was to perform the shop. That was why, she stressed, that I must read the guidelines for each client to ensure the particular date of the shop.
This I did for years.

Now, with the new system in place, I cannot do this - I am to perform the shop in the week in which I selected. Okay, that's great. I'll do that. I know how to make routes, etc.

However, in November and December of this year, I selected the third week request as I finished my shop as suggested by the scheduler. Those shops I would do in January and February of the new year. I was unaware of the new method that Maritz was installing. There was no Email, no alert of any sort from Maritz.
In this particular comment stream, the MaritxCX Scheduler suggests calling Maritz to reschedule the dates - they cannot "guarantee" this can be done.
I did just that and guess what happened? The shops I needed to move were taken off my list in a way that would not "hurt" my shopper rating. They would be put back on the system's list for anyone to take.

"Hurt" my rating? I didn't change the rules Maritz, you did - in midstream without warning!

I'm a reasonable person, I don't get angry easily and I always try to look at both sides before passing any sort of judgement. I try to understand the reasoning and, for this particular change, I think I understand your change of this reporting. I think that's referred to as being a "professional" business person, and , as a shopper, I would consider this invaluable.

But yes, I'm PO'ed! I played by your rules Maritz, followed your guidelines, performed the shops as instructed and you did this. So sure, I'll continue to be your shopper. I'll continue to follow your rules, etc and methods. But, you have tarnished our relationship. When one of your schedulers call asking for "helping you out" on a shop, I'll be a little more wary of doing just that.
Think I was told that there was a maximum of 30 shops per month.
