Intelli Editors

I know we all talk about the editors here and I try very hard to not let them get to me. I usually get all 9's and 10's but got a 6 the other day. I just blew it off with the attitude that I am getting paid so don't worry about it. But I came home to a score of 9 a little while ago and the comment just baffles me.

If it was great why didn't I get a 10 ?!?!?!?!?!

Are they just trying to lower our ratings?

LOL the other day my scheduler asked me a detail about my report. She said I wrote there was a tile missing and I replied I didn't. I knew that location very well because I shopped it maybe 40/50 times. She sent me back the copy of the report that the client sent her asking for explanation (I guess the client too knew that the location was perfect LOL). The report looks different, I guess they copy my narrative on other forms they have for clients. But the phrase that the client asked about was: at the location there were an tiles missing.
It was after 2 weeks so I even went back to the locations to make sure...I was right no tiles missing. I was amazed at that crappy grammar...then it hit me. I wanted to write "at the location there were no tiles missing".

All this to show how the editor sent the job to the client. BUT...nothing said. The error was mine and the responsability was mine 100%. I asked the scheduler to apologize with the client for me.

What the heck? I only got "nice" instead of "great" with my 10 score.

I noticed I am getting all 9's from this company for all my 'great' work. Some things just make you wonder. I have another MSC I do the majority of my work for and have never gotten anything less than a 10. I have learned to just not worry about it as long as I get paid.....LOL

It's because {A}: You might have misspelled one word, or forgotten one punctuation mark.

Or {B}: That particular editor does not BELIEVE in 10's and makes sure you don't get one...or anyone else....cool smiley

Well I do a grammar check in Microsoft Word for all my narratives so I am thinking B is the correct answer......

I learned a long time ago that spell check does not catch everything so I always use grammar check and it really helps me.

It's possible to get "10s" from intelli-shop editors. I got 16 "10s," with an average "9" rating out of 33 shops. Funny thing is that my "10s" are from the more difficult, higher end shops. The gift card shops were the most problematic - hated them! I have not seen those in years.

I got 10's when I first started doing shops for them but the past couple of weeks I think they just got a different editor or something. I like the shops they have and they pay well so I will keep working for them. I just can't let them get to me....

I only will do their shops if they have a bonus. I usually find that the reports are too much work for the base pay.
