Gas shops

The MSC that has Chevron/Texaco, Shell, and Valero shops, require the mystery shopper to wear an orange safety vest when doing the Chevron/Texaco and Shell shops, but do not require the wearing of a safety vest for Valero. I've often wonder why. Ive decided, finally, that the MSC wants their shoppers to be safe when doing Chevron/Texaco and Shell shops, but don't care if they get run over when doing a Valero shop.

My idea of an agreeable person is a person who agrees with me.

This same MSC has started a pilot program for discount grocery stores...and guess what the vest is back for the parking lot portion of the audit. LOL. I think they just like that vest...except on Valero, they don't care if you get hit on them.
Take lots and lots of pictures. I do Valero, Shell and BP for this company and I have found that it is best to take way more pictures than you think you might need otherwise you might get asked to go back. The Shell shops take about 10 minutes more onsite and about 10 minutes more to input than the Valero's. Both are easier than the BP's. The other problem is that you have to buy gas at the Shell and BP. I am limited by the size of the tank and the schedulers don't understand this. They call me almost daily asking me to take more locations....

They are paying an extra $1 for the night shops at Shell. Given the time frame to do them is always flexible, it is usually easy to schedule a route and make them fit with other shops.
