Volition get paid to surf and e-mail links

Hey, my mom is really trying to find some stuff she can do at home on the computer to make money bc she's really struggling right now. She is on disability so shopping isn't feasable and she could lose her status. She just needs some extra cash for food and stuff. Volition has these links for getting paid to surf the internet and e-mail type stuff. Are these safe and good ways to make extra cash? Anybody have some advice on these? I don't want to send her something dangerous.

Gonzo, get ahold of ItsASecret. She just tried out a gig that sounded similiar to this and it was a losing proposition. It was discussed on a thread with a subject line something like "Mystery Shopping Online".

Oh, okay. Better not send them to her then. Dang. Thanks guys. I'll look up that other discussion.
Yo Gonzo! Those on disability can shop. There is a set amount she needs to check into...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
The particular company I signed up with (mysteryshoppersonline.net) seems to be some kind of scam. It's possible there are legitimate online mystery shopping companies.

bigspot.com is a signup portal for a lot of legitimate online and by-mail survey companies. I made a couple hundred dollars one year doing online surveys for them. The best survey company to hook up with is AC Nielsen -- good pay, and they pay per survey by check. some of the others don't pay you until you build up $30 or so. But if I were disabled, I'd go back to bigspot and signup again. I stopped doing them when I got busy for awhile and never went back. I suppose I should re-sign up myself.

But these are surveys, not mystery shopping.

I got to preview potential commercials and give opinions on them, test drove some toilet paper (that one was fun -- had to keep a diary of everything I did in the bathroom, and how many sheets of paper I used each time; I'll bet the reviewers had fun going over THOSE reports!), filled out opinion polls.

Haven't seen their commercials for awhile but they're probably still out there.

I think I'm already signed up with mypoints.

I could not keep track of what I did in the bathroom and give it to someone. Too embarrased. Thanks for the advice though I'll send these to her.
Itsasecret - can you give me a link to the ac nielsen thing. I keep searching but I cannot find a place to sign up for something. Does it still exist?
I don't know. It was a couple years ago and I got on them through Bigspot.com.

I have found and worked four types of at home jobs. I did inbound phone sales, I graded student school standardized tests, There was a thread on mystery shopping and I found information for testing for the 2010 census. I was a field suppervisor for the 2010 census.

Lots of good information.
