ICCDS

I've also had no issues when my report mentions something negative with this company, and I've had to send them reports where employees did worse than just avoid customers. Maybe it's the particular client who has issues with the negative reports (I haven't ever done grocery shops for ICCDS)?

The real question, do they try to invalidate negative shops or just ask for more clarification? I've said this before, negative shops require more care than a glowing report because of their possible impact on the employee and the store. The only time I do not receive additional requests is when I have been proactive in discussing the truly bad shop with the scheduler and/or editor prior to submission. I tend to look at the communication as a debrief rather than an accusation or attempt by the MSC and/or client to gloss over the facts.

I would say the fitting room is in the middle of the aisle, if it's the shop I think you're talking about. smiling smiley

I just signed up with them and they have a shop in a town I'm trying to make a route for next Friday. But the other two shops on my card that day are also "firsts" for me and I don't really like doing more than one or two new shops in a day.

They have NO description of what is involved, but I expect it will include the "try on merchandise in the non-existent fitting room" request.

Is the "fitting room" shop time consuming or have a detailed report with lots of narrative? If it's simple and short I'd like to take it on because I actually could use an item of the apparel in question. But if they want quotes and details and whether the clerk's hair was in a ponytail or not . . . I'll probably pass this one by.

Eric, if it's who I'm thinking it is, when you go to actually fill out the survey, the dressing room question disappers if the store you shopped doesn't have a dressing room. Some of the locations sell clothes while others don't.

@James Ooooh! Didn't realize that. I've been to two of those stores where they don't sell clothes. I didn't know that some of their other locations sold clothes at all. Thanks for the tip on that. @itsasecret I was thinking the same thing yet also wondered if the guidelines also meant the accessories that "could" be tried on.
I did my first shop with this company today and I must say that I am impressed. I submitted my report at 7:41 p.m. and I swear, by the time I sent an email to another scheduler and hit refresh on my email, I had received an email from the editor thanking me for my report and that it had been finalized!!! It was only 7:46!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Especially on a holiday weekend and a Sunday....I'm just hoping they pay just as fast.
They pay super fast.
I had my first payment within 2 weeks for my first shop completed.

I am happy and just accepted another one.
I'm still waiting for my first payment, but it was my own fault. I changed bank accounts, so they had to verify the new account, and they sent an email explaining that. Then they tried to pay and it didn't show up in the account. I checked my settings and when I changed from "checking account at this bank" to "savings account at that bank" I neglected to change the checking-savings button. So I fixed that and now they are re-verifying the account so I won't get paid till the next cycle.

Hopefully this lesson will help me remember to switch the account type when I finish changing bank accounts at the other direct deposit companies.

But I was very impressed with their communication about it, first telling me that they were verifying the bank, then telling me that the payment hadn't gone through, they had seen that I had made a change, and were re-verifying, and telling me what date they would be paying on.

I had sent them an email about it, but I don't think their message to me was in response to that; I think they were just communicating with me proactively.

I'm confused by the two week payment and the bank account verification. In the past, ICCDS payed 30 days after the shop and through PayPal. The 30 days was based on the shop date and not one certain day the following month. Have they changed terms and payment methods with the switch to Sassie? It is very cool if they have.

....then you'll fit right in. I lost mine long ago. ............
My guess was that December shops were paid before the end of the year for the benefit of their 2012 deductions.
If you ever have any confusion about the shops and the exact guidelines that go along with the shop of the details that will be required in the report please never hesitate to ask your scheduler ! We are always here and willing to help with any questions.

Payments from ICC/DS will be received on the Monday around 30 days after the shop was successfully completed via your PayPal account.

Before the holiday weekend ICC/DS wanted to make sure all of our shoppers received payments for December shops submitted up to the 21st to make sure there were no delays. We still have the 30 day payment policy that will be followed for the upcoming months. Thank you all for all your help and outstanding shopping!
