Circle-of-Service?

Has anyone shopped for this company? They just sent me an email saying I had been approved to shop for them, but I don't think I ever applied (I log all my apps, and don't have one listed for them) Are they legit?

Hi

I did quite a bit for them last year but this year the client seemed to have disappeared and they have not had anything by me.
They are Prophet and I loved them...my scheduler as great and they alays payed on time.

There site is not available, cannot fill out application...something smells fishy.

I signed up with them years ago based on the recommendation of a shopper friend who lived near me. She was far enough away that there were apparently lots of clients in her area but none in mine. So I have never worked for/with them. My impression was that they were a scheduling company rather than an MSP, though I could be wrong.

The site is still active on my end. I get emails from them often for shops in my area. All those shops are over an hour away though so I have yet to actually shop for them.

They're Prophet, and I don't recall signing with them, so must have been via the archondev signup. Their jobs have been posted here before, from CTSS. The email I got was from COS directly. I was hoping for feedback on communication and payment.

I have done two shops for them - both car services - one in 2005 and one in May. They have been the only shops in my area. In 2005 they paid by check. Now they pay by paypal and apparently changed over their system so my profile did not reflect that I accepted Paypal. I did the shop late in May in 2010 and the weekend of July 4th I got an email from them saying that my profile did not show that I accept paypal. It was a personal email. I was out of town and my Blackberry does not handle the Prophet sites well.

I emailed back and gave the person my info and she said she would take care of it so I would be paid the end of July. For some reason there was a mix up and I did not get paid then so I emailed in August and the same person checked back on it and I was promplty paid.

Based on that experience I would say the communication is good and payment is enerally two months after the shop by paypal. I would work for them again.

Looks like the last posting regarding this company was August 29, 2010. Has anyone heard from them or worked for them in 2011? I just applied online and it accepted my application. Their job board is showing three shops in the state of Florida but two are dated for 9/25/11 and one is dated for 11/30/11. We are now in December.
