The quiz are by waves and the questions are pretty much the same. I passed the quiz on my first try and there was only two things I needed to look up in the guideline, the rest are pretty much normal ms stuff.

I did three cell phone shops over two days this past two weeks. I scheduled them at malls so that I was doing other retail shops also on the same trips. Of course, they all want to talk more about the contracts and plans rather than the cell phones but it's an easy few minutes. The qualification test was harder than the reports. The report just has lots of specific questions but not difficult to answer. Just remember to check what is around the store especially if it's a kiosk.
two shops completed within the pat week, both already paid.

Pretty impressive.
Scam with a 'S" I see that they are trying to scam others out of money. Does not surprise me I have a new name

G GREAT
F FOOLS
K ( K) Could care less about shoppers and will SCAM THEM OUT OF MONEY ANY CHANCE THEY GET
OH REALLY?

So you did the shops the last day of the cycle when everyone else does shops no matter what date... Do you work for G et F ull of K....
or did they pay you $2.00 to say this?

I've done them in the past and never had a problem. Doing one tomorrow in fact...
Jleet, you've currently got another thread going with this exact subject line and the same complaint. How many times do you need to post the same thing?
Does this not tell us what? While they don't pay much, they pay fast and I've read plenty of dwater's posts. Enough to tell they are not a shill for an MSC. Is it just because they aren't negative about every mystery shopping company?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Apparently until everyone agrees. The problem is so many of us are shills for the company it won't ever happen.

Dwater sounds like a real shopper to me, working hard, getting along with the MSCs, and posting lots of helpful and positive comments. I believe Dwater is the kind of shopper that MSCs are looking for.

I like to make positive posts about MSCs when deserved, which is very often the case. I've had mostly all positive experiences since I've been shopping. I try to treat MSCs with courtesy and respect, and I find that I get courtesy and respect in return. Rudeness and temper snits turn right around and bite back, every time. Giving somebody a hard time is like holding onto a snake and whipping it around your own neck. You get a lot of action, you're in charge, but you still get snakebit.

This is a forum on which everyone is free to post, and I'm in favor of that. In return for that freedom, we have to put up with some malcontents who are constantly ticked off because they don't have the social skills to know a better way to be. It's part of the package, and I say:

Rave on
Throw a fit
Jump someone
Have a snit
Get bit.

In case y'all don't recognize it, that was poetry. Just a free little ditty from me for your personal pleasure. You're welcome.

Wow, im a shill now because I post something positive.

Did you actually read what I wrote earlier in this thread......

I actually said they were NOT worth it (form me) at $11

I must be the worlds worst shill LOL.

let me refresh your memory, here is detailed run down of the shop and what is expected.

--------------------------------------------------
I have done a number of these shops and to be honest they are not worth it for $11 (to me personally anyway) which is why I have never completed one for even close to that price!

The shop itself is pretty quick at around 15 mins but for the first time shopper there is a lot to learn, a quiz and the report is not super quick, with multiple drop down boxes of narrative.
I would say for a shopper doing this for the first time you would have at least 1.5-2 hours of work to complete.
Once you have learned the senario, have all the paperwork and know the shops off by heart then its around 15 mins of shopping and 0.75 hours of admin time.

I have done a shed load of phone shops and have never been asked for an ID so I am not sure why that would ever come up.

He was right. And the moderator of a forum has the most powerful pen on the forum. All duplicate posts posted in the wrong place can and should be moved.
Here's something positive. I'm positive the MSCs want shoppers who are literate, reasonable, and courteous. What we have here is a problem that will take care of itself.

I've done one and I'm scheduled to do another tomorrow. I agree that the report is actually easy because a lot of the boxes disappear when you answer the question.
I did a wings shop tonight (and a couple of months ago) for GfK, and the questionnaire took a grand total of 30 minutes. It was quick n' clean. I don't know what you're complaining about.
I did my first GfK shop on the 12th (cell phone) and was paid via PayPal today. I was really overwhelmed trying to learn and memorize all of the specs, as I was using an expert-type scenario, but ended up needing none of the information as the associate was only interested in talking about the colors of phones and how they would fit nicely in a purse. I wrote up the information objectively, and repeated the information when called for clarification (I would have called too - even with explanations, I had a LOT of "no" answers), but internally I was so glad I was the shopper so that this associate's superiors can have a little chat with him about his "technique". Definitely tested my resolve as a shopper not to say a word to the associate! I definitely felt like I earned the bonus on that one!
