Horribly Outdated Company List

Hi,
The company list on here is horribly outdated.
Several are listed twice because they merged, or whatever, many more are no longer in business, some have new websites, etc.

There is even one company that is listed with an Angelfire URL. (Seriously?)

Anyways.....I volunteer to update it, or if It's more acceptable I'll set up a a shared doc or wiki the the whole group can.

It's being worked on.

About a month ago I posted asking for assistance. A long time poster volunteered to help, and sent me a database that she had.

I am currently going thru the entire list, updating links, getting pertinent information, and removing those which were listed as bad links. When it is completed, I will send it to Jacob.


SodaJerk - thanks for the offer, but there is no need to go ahead and double the work since it is in the process of being worked on.

Thanks for everyone working on this for free. But please do not in anyway speak badly about Jacob. Without him we would not have this forum or any reasonable list. TO: OP: You might have phrased your post in a more polite and thoughtful way.!!
