I initially responded to this email and received a response that Helion was checking with the client about dates (or something like that). I have not heard a thing since then. Has anyone else?

My email posted an airport job in Europe...I de-activated as I said in earlier post.

I would like to hear from any shoppers who were not paid the fee that they were supposed to receive. I recruited shoppers for Helion and they have paid me pennies on the dollar what they owe me and now will not return any emails.

I am owed over $400. I was charged a paypal fee as well not only for scheduling, but for the one shop I completed as a mystery shopper. The fee for mystery shopping was about $.50 less than I was supposed to have received and then I had a 3% exchange rate fee taken out both times I was paid. Usually the exchange fee is paid by the mystery shopping company when they advertise in US funds as they did.

I was told that the shops were paid in US funds, then I see on the boards after I did recruiting for them, etc that the shops were paid in Euros. All my emails from the office stated the shops were paid so much per shop all in US funds, not Euros.

Please feel free to contact me directly at junerss@gmail.com I do want to get together a formal complaint and submit it shortly to MSPA as they are MSPA members.

Thank you for you appreciation and if you were recruited by me, I am sorry if you were cheated out of pay. But, please let me know about so I can move forward with the complaint.

I warned you that way back June.... you said then it was all ok no one was shorted.
Now you are finally with us. We are all shorted. And anyone not just got it on a even US to EURO pay exchange date.
I'll share my limited experience: The assignment I accepted was listed as paying 11 Euros, and it showed (at the time) an approximate conversion to $14-something U.S. dollars. I received prompt payment of 11 Euros via PayPal; however, the exchange rate (at that later date) then translated to $13-something U.S. dollars. I was not charged any fees by PayPal for the exchange/conversion to U.S. dollars.

I found Helion's communication to be inconsistent, but they did pay me the rate advertised: "Pay Rate: 11 EUR"
... If only the exchange rate had moved the other direction! smiling smiley

June, you recruited me (won't go into details), sorry you were taken as well as shoppers.....it's a long road to h___, but they found it.

Thanks to all who've shared, as you've saved me aggravation. I, like Irene, de-activated.

On another note, are we really thought to be so stupid that a new poster can sing the praise of an MSC and we're to believe what they wrote?

VOETJERS--
working wit helion for over a year now, never had issues made a lot of money.
Let's not be too hard on a new member, Bob. Voetjers did hail from Belgium (in another thread), which might explain the different experience with Helion.
Good to know. That means the person was quoted in Euros and paid in Euros.
The big problem comes in the fact that I was told the shops were $XX in US funds to recruit shoppers. I did not actually have access to the site. I had only the same access as a regular shopper. Then, when a shopper was paid, it was paid in Euros. That is where I do not think it was fair. I do not know what was posted on the shop itself. I completed one shop myself and I was shorted, but I don't know if it was listed as Euro's or US funds. I posted to recruit shoppers that the shoppers would be paid $xx amount of money, they were not paid that amount of money.

If the shops were to be paid in Euros, I should have been told this was an estimate amount and it is really this much in Euros and could change. I found my email from Helion today stating the shops were in US funds, the same as my scheduling fee.

Heck, what they paid me for scheduling/recruiting didn't even come out to the Euro conversion, I was just plainly cheated out of my fees. I sent more emails to different people today as I found other emails I had contact with. If I don't hear anything back, then I will take further action. I really like to give the MSP the benefit of the doubt if the emails were not getting to the correct people. It's just that once I started asking for payment, all contact was stopped from my usual contact.
June -- As far as I can recall, the job posting for the shop I did was was in U.S. dollars. I don't accept shops in other denominations.
