I have never heard of them but I googled them and came up with this website, [emergewithus.com] It would appear they are a mystery shopping firm specializing in the medical industry. Nothing about the sites sends up any red flags and they have a shopmetrics reporting site so it seems legit. I'm curious if anyone has worked for them and what kind of jobs they have.

I swear to God I am going to commit murder and mayhem on my computer. It's a laptop and I think when I try to type fast I hit some key and then I lose my whole message or the darn curser skips off to wherever it pleases.
Anyway in response to Brak, God only knows where I found the name as I have been bouncing all over the internet and signing up with lots of companies. I am going to do a couple shops and then I'll report back to you.
This area really, really interests me as I have been dealing with a few medical issues over the last year and sometimes the communications and other dealings with the medical systems have been terrible. And my fear is that it will start getting worse.

I agree with Brak that the website looks good and legit. Since you're willing to be the guinea pig make sure to report back, LOL!

Shops don't pay much but I am picking low hanging fruit order to get my foot in the door. The companies that I've done reports for have been giving me good marks (for a newbie, anyway). The problem is getting the initial jobs! Some companies are willing to try me out, others seem to have enough shoppers so they aren't concerned with getting new folks.
Am off to do a hotel check-in. A first for me and a little nervous about it but it didn't sound too difficult. Wish me luck!

The hotel, is that an FGS shop? I did one of those, and it was real easy, for a newbie, because you can take the checklist with you and fill it out at your leisure in the room. But they are kinda slow to pay.
Oh and also I am NOT gonna print all 56 pages of the guidelines, if I do another.

The hotel shop was a breeze and report wasn't bad at all. EXCEPT that I'm trying to get used to using a recorder and I'm still trying to get the hang of getting it to do what I want it to do. On top of that I'm dealing with my "dancing curser." I've tried to explain to my computer guy what it does but he hasn't been able to fix it. Shot him a message and said let's meet and you watch me type to see if it's human or computer problem.

I did the hotel checkin and be sure to ask the desk clerk his name...yes, he is wearing a name tag, but, when I asked, I was given another name, and he quite embarrased answered as looking at the tag he was wearing, oh, this shirt isn't mine. since it is imparitive to get correct name, ask, just a tip.
This same clerk also forgot to reverse my bill, so had to go back and ask and show Manager letter, then it was done, but took two trips.

Thx. Irene. I just checked my checking account and the charge for the hotel is still hanging in there so I may very well have to call him. I did get the gentleman's name though. I thought he had reversed the charge but the invoice he gave me is blank. I think I flustered him.
Irene - I have a dumb question. Since this is my first hotel check in I'm not sure what the proof is that the manager reversed the transaction. He gave me a copy of what is titled "Information Invoice" and the header has all the usual info, e.g. hotel name, address, room no., etc., but there is nothing on the lower half where the columns are Date, Description, Charges, Credits.
Shouldn't this invoice show a credit for the amount of my one night stay in order to get it reversed from my account?
