Gas station shops for $3.50?

I've seen gas station shops for $3.50. You have to take 6 pictures of each pump. I don't see anyone taking them. Have you seen them? What do you think? For me this shop requires way too many pictures for the fee.

Please don't feed the MSF trolls!

Feeding the MSF trolls bread or other human food is detrimental to their health and the environment. It can lead to malnutrition, disease, and behavioral problems in trolls, as well as water pollution and the spread of pests. Trolls are capable of finding their own food sources and don't require human assistance.
I'm asking what others think of the shop.
Let me ask you a question smiling smiley

If you received 99/100 replies opposite of what you stated, would that even remotely change your mind?

I think I would have never read far enough to know how many pictures they want. Even one is too many.
Well I did read far enough on another gas station shop for $7.50. They want us to check 41 things.
Those are actually really easy - the $7.50 ones. its mainly checking food and drink stocks in the store. Takes 10 minutes, a few minutes for input. One picture of the receipt.
Why anyone would do a gas audit for $3.50 especially during the summer is beyond me.

I hear you. I have not seen this offer but, no, I would absolutely not accept an assignment like that.

You've got to be kidding! Let's say the gas station is 5 miles, 4 pumps and it takes 15 minutes one way and 20 to 30 minutes to take the pictures. Total time 50 to 60 minutes, plus the report. According to my calculations that's $2.53 per hour, considering gas and auto maintenance. Are you sure you placed the decimal point correctly and it's not $35.00?
Haven't seen anything like that in my area, but they'd be a hard pass unless there was huge gas reimbursement.

I just wrapped up 5 days on the road. Customer Firsts for either $8.50 or $20, Exxons, mostly for $15, but one for $100, another for $200, and was able to get a couple of $18 sticker gigs at sites where there were no stickers. Phillips 66 for the usual $12, with a handful as much as $45. Along with a couple of bonused apartment visits and a handful of truck stop competitor gigs and I grossed close to $1300 for the week.

Another joke, yes?
I do not even boot my computer for $3.50.

FWIW, I did a couple of the $5 pay truck stop competitor shops ($5 reimbursement) on my most recent route.

Not worth it, as there are too many pictures involved, with some having the potential for outing.

I thought I had reminded myself not to take those anymore, but apparently not.

And, upon logging everything from this most recent trip, I see I forgot about doing a Chevron through the Dude With The Hat app.

It was $15 open reimbursement + $2 fee. This one had renovation issues, so I snapped a few more covert pictures than I would if it were a Customer First visit that had multiple violations.

I'd do it again as part of a route as the flexible reimbursement totally works when I'm trying to knock out as many gas stations as possible when I travel.
