Bristol Farms shop. Has anyone done them?
It's for really rich people. People who don't look at prices. It's a very nice atmosphere.
These markets make Whole Foods prices look good. Having to ask a question in each of the departments of which there were 8 I believe, turned me off. Not worth the fee or reimbursement.
Several years ago I did them a few times. I like the store, but would never shop there. Too rich for my blood. Anyway, good move by you for dropping the shop. You are right, it requires entirely too much work inside the store and the evaluation as I remember is a short paragraph about every department among other things. I don't know why people are accepting the shop at base price. $15 fee and $20 reimbursement is not good, but they never get a bonus anymore. To each his own. By the way, that $20 at that store might cover a bottle of water, can of beans, and an apple.
I have done these for a different chain of stores here. They paid $30 with a $10 reimbursement. I used to love those because the store sold the best prepared foods and I always used to get a nice hero for lunch. I also had to interact with the candy and gelato areas where you can ask for a free sample of anything so that shop was like a food fest for me.
Anything less than 30 is crazy because it is a lot of walking around and having to get their names, coming up with dumb questions is always the hardest.
