Hello…I see a shop listing for replenishing stuffed animals at a grocery store. Anyone have any further details?

I actually have a regular route of these every month. The first visit is tedious, because the diplay is sometimes a mess. But after the first visit, when i go back the next month, its not bad at all because I know I did it right to begin with. Now that i am the regular person every month, the employees see me walking in and they say "Hey Beanie Baby Lady!" and i just make myself at home, making the following visits even faster because i know where everything is and don't have to ask for permission to go in the back of the stores for the backstock. I don't do them for the initial offered amount. The MSC knows that I'll do them in the timeframe and as requested so they automatically have them set at a better price. I think I'm up to 40 on my route now. Takes me about 2 days in the bigger city close to me and then the couple in the smaller city close to me almost a day. I wouldn't suggest picking up a route of 40 to begin with though! LOL!!!

Definitely a lot easier when you are familiar with the location, but just going to say, based on my experiences, it might not hurt to periodically let some of those go to the board and see what the actual going rate might be. I worked with this company for about a year on a project at a consistent rate, then they started asking me to go lower and lower. Or there would be additional tasks added, but no additional pay. At one point, I asked if they would take a pay cut? They would always say "sorry for the confusion!" it wasn't confusion.
I stopped doing the location by me and now it routinely goes to nearly double the fee.
I agree, their base fees are very low. When I first started doing work for them, I took some jobs at base, just a handful to see what it was and if I liked it. I don't think there was another shopper in my area at the time so I saw the fees go up quite a bit for the same shops I was doing at base. I watched and the fees kept going up. I took some more at higher fee and then the locations that were further out, went up even more. I learned to play that game pretty good for awhile and was making good money. But along comes another shopper or possibly two, and they are taking all of those jobs at base so that I am forced to take what is offered to me at base as well.

There was a group of jobs that I had my eye on that nobody had done. They finally got to $18 and I said, great, I will take them when they get to $20. Nope, someone else grabbed them. Meanwhile, last year I was getting 30+ to do the same jobs. Quite frustrating. My area has been invaded.
Yes, I've experienced similar, I just hold my own bottom line and hope that the newbies will see the light and realize that re-stocking 120 pairs of slippers ain't worth $18.
