Appliance Recommendation Shops

I am a little confused about the new washing machine recommendation shops. The directions mention an assigned brand and model, but I do not see a specific mention of that. I do see a general category: lower budget and top loading with a given set of washing features. I have emailed the scheduler, but have not heard back. Has anyone completed one of these jobs that can explain what is meant by assigned brand and model?

This will totally and completely shock you, but the guidelines are just poorly written (I does not stand for I for Detail in the MSC's name!) . What they want is a picture of the appliance that was recommended to you based on the assigned scenario. So if you are assigned the budget washer under $800, they want a picture of the washer and product tag of what was recommended. I've done a few of these, and thats how I submitted them and they were approved right away.
Thank you so much. I understand exactly what you mean. They should pay you to write the directions. I appreciate you responding so quickly. I have one shop scheduled today.
I hope it went well @Rg. These are pretty easy to complete and reports are not too bad. I'll take these over a cell phone shop any day.
Come on, Service, they aren’t *that* different from each other. You’re just trading one Samsung product line for another.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

Touché
These are so easy. I don’t like cell phone jobs, but sometimes if the other jobs are sparse… I’ll give in and do a few.
Through multiple MSCs there are two constants on these shops: poorly written guidelines and declining fees.
Stupid guidelines+stupid shop form=cranky doggie. I may bite cardboard Fred on the leg.

1. exterior selfie -rolls eyes-
2. price tag of first recommended appliance
3. "upload a close-up photo of your assigned Samsung model on display" I don't have a model, I have a budget. Do they want a close-up picture of a Samsung washer that's within budget or a close-up of the price tag of a Samsung in-budget washer?
4. "upload a photo of the most prominent Samsung display." Okay, a photo of the high-dollar washers. Check.

Anybody for #3? Never seen such a rinky-dink, inept operation in my entire life. I bet their parking lot is full of clown cars.

They want a picture of the appliance that was recommended to you. The one that matches the price tag you are uploading to the report. I've done a bunch of these and all were accepted this way. So i guess I'm guessing at what they want here, but my guesses so far have been accepted

I mean you could email the blackhole and ask them to clarify. And they will tell you to read the Guidelines. Kind of like a dryer: around and around you will go!

Truer words never written! And when you respond that the guidelines don't address that point, they either don't respond or get annoyed with you because you actually read both the guides and the survey and that neither is clear nor answers the question. And that--gasp--you want to do the shop correctly!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
