How to expand my mystery shop opportunities.

Hello, I have been mystery shopping for about 4 years and in time have seen opportunities dwindle with the companies I am currently signed up with. I know there are many more shops out there I can sign up for but don't know how to narrow the choices down to ones that are in my area and the types of shops they offer. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Yes. Go to the "Mystery Shopping Company Discussion" topic and use the resource pinned to the top of the page. It is full of companies. Sign up with a company. Repeat process until you have signed up with all of them or until you've signed up with enough that you can manage at once. Then, sit back and wait, for at least three months. You'll then have a good idea of what jobs they offer and whether there are any in your area.

Nobody can tell you what shops might be available in your area without knowing where you live. I believe I can speak for the sane folks here when I say that nobody wants to know where you live. Just follow the advice in the first paragraph, and keep on truckin'.

You're welcome.
Unfortunately, there is no way to know what areas the companies have jobs in until you sign up with them. I have signed up with many MSCs that have no work in my area. But on occasion I do get an email with an opportunity. It doesn't hurt to sign up. I keep the email notifications on and then I have the shortcuts to the MSCs that don't have work in my area on a separate spot on my phone.
Jobsilnger and Presto both have extensive listings by area, and can often help you identify jobs with companies that you aren't currently signed up with.
in addition to jobslinger and presto, check out gigspot and isecretshop for multiple company listings. I really like gigspot, but there are plenty who don't. It opened up a lot more opportunities for me. I don't use their app however - I just use their website.
Thank you all for your input and information. I appreciate it. I didn’t want to start the process of applying for more shops if there was a better way of finding out what they offer. I’ll check out job slinger again as well as Presto. I do enjoy the iSecretshop and GigSpot. Guess I’ll just have to start on that big list of mystery shopping and I hope I can add to my jobs. Thank you all!

I find Video shops intimidating or I am doing something wrong. Is it just me? What is your experience. Is video shopping easy or challenging?
I am curious about video shops but don't have any equipment.
