Pizza hut rant

I had signed up for a carry out Pizza Hut shop and attempted to place an order online. Neither the website or the app would let me add it to my cart. I explained all of this and uploaded the screenshot with the error message. I made several attempts to order and they all came up with errors. My shop was rejected because I failed to order a pizza and got a 1/10. I am mad because I followed the instructions and explained the problems I ran into. I don't expect to be reimbursed for anything, but I expect to get at least partial payment for my time and not a 1. I also have no clue how I could avoid this in the future. It's not like I can predict website outages.

I've done several of these shops, never had a problem ordering online.
That 1\10 is wrong! This MSC is so messed up.
If the instructions told me to cancel if I couldn't complete it, I would have. I've done other PH locations and this was the first one that didn't work.
I am very sorry. sad smiley I have one of those shops tomorrow. I have experienced several issues with the PH app recently as a normal customer, including the very issue you described. I am hoping I don't have issues tomorrow.

I suspect had you cancelled, you would have probably would have faced consequences anyhow.
Gotta be real careful working for that MSC. The schedulers there are vicious on a good day.
yeah it sucks. I had a rejected shop within the past 6 months. I wrote the shop # from sassie on the box, NOT the location number when taking the picture. They sent it back to me and asked me to submit the right picture. I told them I don't have the pizza or the box anymore. So it got rejected. Ultimately this was my faut, so it hurt. @Mellifluy i'm not saying it was your fault on your situation.
I have completed a few of these, and I just took a look at the scheduler emails and the guidelines. and neither mention what to do if online ordering is not working. The guidelines do mention what to do if the pizza to be ordered is not available, but no mention of online ordering issues. I'd be pretty upset too if I sent in screenshots showing that it wasn't working and get dinged with a 1/10 for an issue that was out of my control. I have noticed that some fast food chains have had more online ordering outages lately.
Do they ever have non pork shops? kidding lol

This 100%! A 1 without being banned is a sigh of relief with this MSC. At this point, I infer that the MSC wants them to be hostile gatekeepers or they would have changed personnel or addressed their aggressive interactions.
Have you tried to appeal their decision?

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I sent an email but received no response. At least I wasn't out any money. Still peeved though.
That stinks. In addition to providing the error codes on screenshots like you did, I suggest making sure you have the most current version of Android/IOS and the most current version of their mobile app installed. I would provide those software versions in the report with the screenshots.

The MSC might not be interested in such incompatibilities, but the clients IT and marketing departments would be.

If they put this information in the report, can the editor change the report or take that part out?

There was one time I did a report, the editor wrote back and they rewrote one of my sentences.

Here is a tip I learned that will hopefully help you if you ncounter this problem. I realized that the website won't let me add anything to the cart if I'm signed in, but will let me check out if I am a guest. What a weird quirk.
For some reason, I can't sign up for these. Every time I try to get one, it says the shop is not longer available but I do not know why yawning smiley(
Sorry that happened, Mel. I haven't run into that specific issue, but I did experience Pizza Hut refusing to accept my credit card after I bought pies at three other locations on the same day.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

My mother wrote the date and underneath Thursday on the box instead of the location. Her shop was accepted. I forgot to write on it completely then my daughter took a slice so I couldn't go back and add it. They denied my shop. I was so mad. All of my pictures were fine and my mother didn't follow the directions either but hers was accepted so I don't know.
I just got a rejection because instead of writing the date, and location on the box, I used a white piece of paper. Several weeks ag \o I did one exactly the same way and received a 10. Go figure. This is ridiculous.

What is the difference in writing it on the box or on a piece of paper?
Someone probably tried to submit one pizza for two shops. If you don't write on the box you could just write another paper with different info.

Because then it would be easier to reuse the exact same pizza for multiple locations. Not really, because you'd still have to have a receipt for each one, but that's probably their thinking.

For starters, the former follows the guidelines, the other does not.

My question is, why would you write on paper, instead of the box?
