Shell shops have disappeared, as expected
No answers, but generally in Presto you will be blocked from seeing those same shops for 24 hours.
I was waiting for them to drop off last night and was able to grab mine back a little after midnight. I emailed them and was told "There was a mistake that happened with batch settings and we are working on fixing everything and returning the abandoned shops to the shoppers." and they apologized. I said never mind I had already claimed the ones that dropped. They said they had checked the setting when I emailed on 12/27 when I was told not to worry about it, but this was a "different setting". Whatever!

I wasn't watching when the clock struck zero, so I missed claiming the shops I had. However, I was able to claim the ones closest to me, which I had missed out on a few weeks ago. I hope they leave it alone to avoid any more confusion, and I can scoot out of town this week or weekend and do my routes without having to wait until the 16th. It is going to be super cold next week!!

I am not seeing any Shells either. I had not claimed any yet but they have all disappeared from the possible shops available.
I just checked mine when I saw this thread, I only picked two in TN to give myself an excuse to get some good fried chicken (and lotter tickets while I'm there), they are still (maybe back) on my list, with a new counter to when they will drop off on Jan 21.
I wouldn't have even known if mine went missing. All are there now, though.
Well, I talked to my son, apparently the vultures got 3 of his during the several minutes they were back on the board. But he has all the rest of them with the new counter.
The weird thing is mine all dropped off and I was able to reclaim them, but the ones I forgot about or didn't take back were reassigned to me without even requesting them.
Also, they did this last quarter (End of last year) with these shops. They assign what they can for the first month of the quarter, then pulled the rest after a couple of weeks. When the 2nd month of the quarter came up, they put those back out on the board with additional locations added to the list.
I think it is a way for them to get them completed and not have everyone what until the last few days for huge $200 fees. I wonder if that is why they got rid of the schedulers? The way they were throwing money at us for a while there was really nice...but not good for the business on their end. I never complained, just did the job, took the money, and happily paid my bills.

Yeah, I get that, and I really enjoy a nice bonus. I just didn't see how the schedulers were allowed to increase the pay rate that fast in the program when we know these guys really want to save money in the long run. But yes, if they want to get my entire state done in the first 2 weeks of the quarter...by all means, set the starting rate at over $100. I'll go anywhere you want.
Mine dropped off. They reappeared in my Presto shop log the next morning. I too had e-mailed the scheduler about the due dates in Presto. She told me not top worry about it.
I just looked at my log and there were two shops automatically added. One is one of the original shops I had accepted. I'll be letting that one fall off because when I lost it and it did not pop back on the board, I assumed someone else grabbed it. So, I changed my other shops for tomorrow. The other shop that was added is for a location several states away, one I never had to begin with. That one won't be getting done either.
I wish the app had a way to give up shops, this way they could simply go back on the map and someone else could grab them.

On Presto, there is a way to give up shops. Open the shop. On the upper right corner there's a green box with a human figure and three horizontal dots. Tap that box and select which shop you'd like to toss back. There's a red box that says "delete evaluation". You'll still need to wait a specified amount of time if you'd like to add it for a later date.
