Hey @AZwolfman....

I'm sure you miss those AVERO shops just as much as I do. Those were the easiest and best shops in Nevada.

Aramark concessions (especially baseball games), El Pollo Loco, Mimi's, AmEx convention kiosks, casinos
I did those shops only whenever there was one in a hotel that I was already shopping. They never really excited me, possibly due to the locations and due to my very busy schedule during that time. I was doing at least 2 overnight resorts monthly during that time. I would not make a trip to The Strip unless the route paid at least $80. Shopping The Strip is time consuming due to parking, pedestrian traffic, and lots of walking. My favorite part of Avero shops was the scheduler, for whom I always tred to do shops whenever she asked me.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I think the prudent ones will. I have seen shops that disappeared during the pandemic come back with new MSCs, so it does happen.

Some smart salesperson for a MSP should look at this thread and start going after these accounts.
There's a company that does these by me and it's an easy report.

I just miss the abundance of shops I had around me in NYC. I had so many within walking distance of my apartment. Where I live now, there are not a lot of retail stores other than small mom-and-pop businesses, and just a few restaurants, so the opportunities are much less - unless I drive at least an hour away. I also used to do a lot of airport shops because pretty much all airports in NYC could be reached by public transportation and had numerous landside concourses with plentiful stores and eateries to shop without needing a ticket. Now I live 1.5 hrs from the nearest "major" airports in my state and there are only a handful of shops/eateries in their concourses, most of which are small local businesses and none of them are shopped. So, I try my best to find decent phone and web inquiry shops.

Is Nsite still around? They had some of my favorite restaurants as clients. I checked their website and nothing available. Anyone know which msc took over their portfolio?
Airline shops where you actually got 50 to $100 per flight segment to listen for the credit card offer.

Ruth's Chris did a ton of these and now the locations near me aren't shopped anymore.

Top Golf I think we still have several hundred dollars in play from shops.

Aveda, easy report and a nice discount on product I use.
There are a whole bunch of Porsche shops out there right now.
Saladworks and Ralph Lauren. And there are far fewer hotel shops then prior to the pandemic.
Nsite is around. I still get emails from them. They don't have many shops in California. I don't know about the rest of the country. Robert is cool. The website is weak and would be better if switched to Sassie or Shopmetrics.

We just posted lots of resort shops through this year at [marketapproach.clientsmart.com]. Maybe you'll see a place you want to visit smiling smiley
Earlier in the week I finally got around to purging the physical paperwork for shops done in 2019 (no longer needed for tax purposes). It was quite the trip down memory lane...boatload of apartment, regional bank, and Merrill Lynch/BOA shops, Shake Shack, an Intelli-Shop regional gas station that offered an acceptable reimbursement, and my one and only Amtrak shop.

Too many to list all of them, but Lego, Aveda, Cheesecake Factory, Hollywood Casino, Godiva, Aeropostale, Build A Bear, etc.
Food! Taco John's, Famous Dave's, Buffalo Wild Wings non-bar, Quiznos, Hardees, HyVee Market Grille. Food shops were always so easy.

Market approach is great to work for! They have some really great shops and they are very reasonable in the fees.
