Jiffy Lube - anyone done?

The "Jiffy Lube Audit". I did a search and all I could see were the job board postings. Curious if anyone knows what those are like, are the requirements realistic, and is the MSC good about paying. Thank you.

I tried one. The report has to be done on-site. I had trouble loading the pictures and after 1 1/2 hours of trying to get the report filed, I gave up and left $ 160 on the table. I was on this site for 6ix hours
I would never let a jiffy / quick lube employee touch my vehicle, no matter what the shop fee. Never, never, not ever. My vehicle now has 304k miles and runs great. I perform all maintenance.
There are different MS guidelines in different areas of the country and with each MSC. In the DMV metro area the visit and the survey are easy and straightforward. I have not paid for an oil change since late 2005. Never had a problem and all were at local Jiffy Lube locations. So, if you shop this area, these are well worth taking.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I have done hundreds of these audits in the last two years and it has been a big chunk of my income. These are revealed audits and you are actually not allowed to have your car serviced. The nice thing is that I've gotten friendly with many Jiffy Lube employees in the area as it is an audit, and revealed, not a mystery shop. They really do need more auditors as they send me hundreds of miles to do the audits. Let me know if anyone needs more information.
No revealed Jiffy Lube audits in this area. Ordinary MS with oil change and easy report. Fee plus reimbursement.

I did one once and wasn't happy with the service or the fact that they tried to sell me on a bunch of repairs I didn't need. I just do the Chrysler "drive-up lane" shops now. I really like those.

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I've been doing them for a year now. I don't think they pay enough. They've asked me to drive hundreds of miles from home for shops that pay $55. I'll keep refusing until they up the pay. I don't think they have nearly enough people doing audits.
What company are you working through that is paying that much?
Yes, I also have been driving hundreds of miles to do the audits and am putting too many miles on my car. However I do 4-5 audits a day for more than $55 each so it becomes more worthwhile. I do wish they would get more people to do the audits. I like traveling and I find this work easy but I would like to focus on higher paying jobs without so much traveling.
ebjny..have they paid you in a timely manner? I've been getting texts and phone calls about the audits, but haven't done one yet.

Before it was taking 6-8 weeks to be paid by Paypal, like the end of January for audits in December. But now they say they have a new system where we will be paid in a few weeks.

Since the Client has been mentioned, no one will (or should) tell you the name of the MSC in this thread. Their post will get deleted if someone does that.
I have had no issue getting paid by this client in the last two years. The audit is done on an app that works pretty well.
