"Post a job ad for us" mystery shops

Just saw a job posting which seemed to be asking the shoppers to post a job ad for them (the msc) on the shoppers personal social media. Your pay is based on how popular your post is. I have not looked into this ms job further as it feels very uncomfortable to me. Anyone else having this reaction?
This was from a well known msc. It is not a scam. I signed into my account with the msc and found the job on the job board.

I have seen several MSC posts on fb, but would not post myself. Plus, all your followers would want you to train them in the field haha. I used to tell people who asked how to become a MS, now I just direct them to MSPA.
I've never seen a shop like this offered. I would not post a mystery shopping job offer on my Facebook page or news feed. I would post A mystery shopping job offer on like the mystery shopping resources page on Facebook, but I would not on my personal news feed.

Sounds sort of scammy to me anyway.
It seems that such as that could cause issues with your anonymity if you live in a smaller town, and anonymity is an asset in this business. So no, I would not post such on my social media. Although I am a member of some of the groups, I don't tell a lot of people that I am a mystery shopper. In some situations, I do say that I do a little business reporting along with my other.

IMO that's putting your personal information at risk, and your anonymity as well. The less the general public has of your information, the better off you are. Recently, I unfriended several schedulers and FB "friends" from MS that I do not know, and don't see the need to further invite them into my private world when all we have in common is shopping. You can use your security setting to restrict what others see, but I know of at least one MS organization "friend" who insists on full access to your page as a condition to being on their personal and professional FB page. NOPE. not a chance.
No way!

No way. I have no intention of announcing to the world via Social Media that I am a mystery shopper. I do not "friend" any schedulers. I do not "like" or "joining" or anything else any MSC Facebook (or anything else) accounts.

Facebook's purpose is to make money in advertising. An MSC wants you to help advertise for them. As disturbing as I find the whole social media scene, it seems only normal that everyone (or company) wants more advertising from wherever they can get it. You're already supporting more companies than you realize anyway. I don't facebook.
Never would do it. Over the years, I have given people plenty of info on what shopping is, how to get into it, etc. I no longer waste my time. People think it is some super glamourous job and always ask so I just don't even mention I do it anymore!

In case there is misunderstanding the ad is not asking for this to be on facebook. It sounds like it could be any or all of the social media acct one might have of the hundreds of them that are out there.
Has anyone applied for this job? As I said the msc is well known and mentioned often on the forum.
