Bummer, but why do I care?

I did an apartment shop today and the leasing consultant did everything so well. I mean, just flawless. Except one thing. She forgot to ask for my ID.
I'm not sure why I care but I'm a little bummed about it.

Shocker. You seem so sweet and emotional. winking smiley
LOL. I have never once been asked for my ID.

I have also never been asked for my driver's license at a car shop, even when going on a test drive!

It ALWAYS amazes me. Mayhap I appear trustworthy? Or just incapable of running fast enough to get away?

*You care, because you hate to take points away from someone who did everything else perfectly.

I hate when they do everything WE want them to do, but don't do what we NEED them to do for reporting purposes. I had the sweetest lady on a shop yesterday and if I was a regular customer, I would have sent the company an email or tweet about how awesome she was. However, she didn't follow the guidelines and I fear she'll be reprimanded for it. I think we all want successful shops, both for us, and the shop itself.

If the leasing professional doesn't ask for my ID, I just put it in my report (if its even asked in the survey). Otherwise, its oh well, and on to the next shop. I really don't care if they don't ask me for it, nor my contact information. One less thing for me to think about.
"Leasing Professional". I see you are well trained. tongue sticking out smiley

I'm the same way. Rooting for them to do well. I did an appartment shop yesterday in a high end building. Everything was very impressive and perfect, but no equal housing signage. Sigh...

If you have never been asked for your ID doing apartment shops, you must not have done too many apartment shops.

Cirrus is one of my biggest vendors every year (either #1 or #2 depending on how many gas station loops to the middle of nowhere I can book with Maritz).

Not being asked for ID is very much a rarity based on my many apartment visits over the years.

I've always been asked for ID, both for Dealerships and Apartments...guess CA follows the law.

I have had a total of one car dealer (out of dozens and dozens) not ask for my driver's license. I was shocked. Twice, I was asked for proof of insurance (as some of the MSCs say in the guidelines can happen).
