I have been known to be random on several occasions. Add some cold meds and oh boy.
yes, showing up for work is one thing. Bonus if they actually do anything while at work.

Walmart isn't shopped. They could not care less about their employee's attitudes, they are just oh so very grateful to have them show up to work.
Here are some places I'd love to see shopped:

Duncan Donuts

Big Lots

Subway (I did a shop a couple years ago at at Subway but haven't seen any since)

Half Price Books

2nd and Charles (similar to Half Price Books)

Speedway Gas Stations

Movie Theaters (I see the underage compliance ones all the time and I don't care for spending a whole day at the theater...would love to see more of the go see one movie/make multiple observations type shops)

Local Entertainment Venues (Here in Chicago we have a good number of fine-arts type theaters where national tours come in...I've only seen a handful of these places shopped over the years).

Local Sporting Venues (I know of two such venues shopped,...one of the 10 foot pole MSC variety and the other of a sport I have yet to get to. One other MSC looked like they were starting one for another sporting venue, but I had never done shops for this MSC so I wasn't eligible).

For those who are looking for a shoe shop (like Addidas), I know Sketchers is shopped.

Silver certified (since 2009) and willing to do shops all around the greater Chicago, NW Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin areas (including airports!.
The first three on your list are shopped, or have been. I haven't seen them in awhile though.

I talked to the old scheduler for Marathon, which owns Speedway. For some reason they weren't interested in having Speedway shopped.

Most large movie theater chains are shopped.

Sketchers aren't real shoes. winking smiley

I've never seen Big Lots shopped at all in my area.

Subway....I have not seen shops for them here in Chicago in ages...

Duncan....I've seen them here and there but never consistently.

Sketchers are real....since my leg issues a number of years ago these are my go-to shoes. Their athletic shoes have great support and the shoes are very comfortable. Not to mention they also have a big selection of wide width shoes. Yes they can get pricey but its well worth it IMO.

I shopped Big Lots last month.
There are movie theatre, two ticket reimb plus $25 food, big lots are shopped and subway here, do skechers monthly
I see movie theaters every now and again (I have done one for an MSC but its a three month rotation....and it goes fast). The same MSC that does a movie compliance shops also has non-compliance shops too but those are also few and far between.

Albertsons / Safeway, in my area. I would like to shop those.
Albertsons is shopped, but not the one 2 blks. from me..go figure. I'd like to shop Von's, Sprouts, more Dept. stores. Many smaller chains, but if they're were less shoppers in my town..well, now we're talking.

Nike is now mystery shopped (as of this month) but only in select areas.

athletic apparel reimbursements (hello Nike? New Balance?).

Most are. I haven't seen Nike but I've done 6 New Balance shops this year and have seen Under Armour and ASIC. Unfortunately they rarely are reimbursement shops. New Balance has a $10 reimbursement but I always talk them into a significant bonus and just kind of look at it as a total fee, I think the UA were $20 with no fee, and the ASIC are purchase/return shops.

I have never seen these. Must be the other 50 MSCs I’m not signed up with!

Any hints on where to look for them?

PF Changs has available shops in my area.
#4 has a shop where you eat at the counter. #5 has shops where you use the fitting room & ask for assistance. They come in waves...you might see them come & go.
I just did a Nike, they have a clearance center in the town next to mine.....easy job, no limit on how many you can do....they're still on the board with the scheduling Co. that is handling them this month.

Hrm. I looked on the only scheduler boards I know about and don't see them. Perhaps I missed something. :/

Art Supplies Shops. These are always worth a mention because there is always another practice piece or masterpiece to be done. Think of the possibilities! These shops could be performed by shoppers of all ages and many abilities, including actual, wannabe, and as-yet-dormant artists; on-site; on-line; keep; return; inquiry only; reimbursement...

My garden in England is full of eating-out places, for heat waves, warm September evenings, or lunch on a chilly Christmas morning. (Mary Quant)
I wish Cinaboon, BWW, and Wing stop was still shopped

I see those shops all the time.
@JASFLALMT wrote:

Golden Corral used to get shopped but it's been about 10 years or so. I don't enjoy doing buffets, too many people touching those spoons and kids leaning over the food (sneezeguards are no help with people under 4'6"), gross, not to mention it's too much food.

We have GC shops here, and have shopped it several times. It's around 25 miles away, but the four of us really like it most of the time. I think we only had one time that was pretty mediocre. For a buffet, the food is, overall, really good. Some misses, but many hits. They've added some dishes lately that are very good. The carrot cake and the fudge are yummy!

As others noted, Dunkin' Donuts is shopped, although I haven't seen any in my area in a few months, but I did a couple. I saw a Big Lots shop once or twice, but wasn't fast enough to grab one, and now I haven't seen one in months. And Subway used to be shopped all the time around here, but, like you, I haven't seen one in a long time.

Fuddrucker's is one I'd love to shop, and I'm assuming it probably is, But I'm either not signed up with the MSC, or our local one just doesn't get shopped. sad smiley

You mean they are still open? Had one near me that closed a few years ago.....seems to be not many others in the Chicagoland area....

Krispy Kreme which has opened a number of shops in the Chicago area, is now shopped....I've got two relatively close to me but they seem to go fast.

BWW has a few near me shopped - only a few. I agree on WS and Cinnabon. Best day to do then was Tuesday when most locations had ALL Cinnapacks for $10

Wood Ranch - for those in the SoCal area they know how great this place is. When I started 20+ years ago this was one of the first places I did with Systemchec (long out of business so OK to mention here)

Cheesecake

As for Chick-Fil-A: I will NEVER, EVER, EVER go there. They are within their rights to do business how they want. I am within my rights to tell them to "F OFF!" As long as they support the HATE groups they do they cease to exist to me. NO family member of mine goes there or ever will. If I date a woman who wants to go there I will let her know if she sets foot in that place - we are done as a couple. I love Raising Cane's because their owners are not racist bastards.
I shopped a Dunkin Donuts today. I see Big Lots on the job board for next month (different MSC). I used to do Subway shops but not in a few years...

I hate my Skecher's. They suck for standing on my feet for long periods of time when I do merchandising. I love my New Balance shoes the best for standing. My Nike's are just okay, not great. I imagine that they would be great for running but I don't run, so....

Have you tried Sauconys? Best running/walking/standing brand I've ever worn. They're not as well known as the "designer" brands, but I won't wear anything else anymore. They used to be hard to find, so I tried other brands. Never found any that fit as well or give as much support (depending on the style you choose). I need a wide toe box due to surgery on one foot and lateral support because I pronate. Most Saucony styles have the former, which are so comfortable, and the style I buy has lateral support and arch support. They offer shoes to deal with various needs, so you can pretty much customize the fit. I love them, and they're middle of the pack price-wise. They have some very expensive ones, but the line I like costs about $65 to $75, and they're often on sale for less. Now I order them online, so never a problem finding them. My husband and older son are now converts, too! (I like New Balance, too, and would probably buy those if I couldn't get Saucony. Nike sucks.)

When I work at the antique mall where I have my booth, I'm literally on my feet for 7 to 8 hours. If I didn't have my Sauconys, I couldn't do it.

Oh, and did I say they wear like iron? You can't kill them. I retire my old ones for gardening work and wearing around the house, and use my new ones for when I go out. I have three pairs right now, one new pair and two that are more than serviceable (and they're several years old).
