Movie Theater Shop CAUTION RANT AHEAD!!!!!

It is against our forum's posting guidelines to reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies. See the blue box to the right of the posts. The reason the forum prohibits this is that when mystery shoppers register with mystery shopping companies, they sign Independent Contractor Agreements (ICA). About 98% of those agreements contain confidentiality clauses that restrict contractors from revealing client names or client information, and I can say definitely that the company that shops Regal Theaters does have a confidentiality clause in its ICA. Many of us skirt the line (and we sometimes actually dance right over it by revealing shop requirements and information - I'm sometimes guilty of that) but we draw the line at revealing the names of MSC's clients.

We have Regal (Edwards) theaters, I have done a couple...but really don't want to work when seeing something I like....may do it again, have to want to see the movie or what's the point. Popcorn is worth it, more $$ than the movie!!

Live consciously....

I'm sorry no one can answer your question without violating their ICA.

What's done is done. An egg cracked cannot be cured.
There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
I just did a Regal shop and saw The Greatest Showman. It was really good. The shops are very easy, but I don't do them as often because my husband doesn't like the theater (there's no stadium seating). If possible, choose a movie that has been out a while and maybe an early showing (like 4pm). It's much easier to do a head count this way. Though I have also done the shop on an opening night. You can count seats left open or do your best guess, you just need to explain why your count could possibly be off (many patrons entering/leaving at the same time, etc). I have always been able to watch the entire movie and successfully complete the shop. Plus, free concessions and my guest has a free ticket too. Can't beat free entertainment.
THANK YOU.

I took one, then canceled .. glad i did!

Easiest shop ever. I used to do these every month (different locations). I get 90% done well before the movie starts. I have entered it on my phone and then finished it at home. It is that simple.
I do the movie shops whenever they are available. Arclights Theaters are the best. The company that I do these shops for have an easy evaluation form to fill out. I saw "Murder on the Orient Express" in December and loved it. Waiting for my next assignment.
Please contact me privately if you are interested in doing Regal, AMC or any theater chain's shops at Julialuvsmovies@gmail.com.
