Target stores

does anyone know if Target has mystery shops and what company would be one that does so? Andwhat big retailer, like Federated, Sears and JC Penney, do they have shops? I mostly do retail grocery stores, restaurants etc.

There were a couple of rounds of Target stores last fall that appeared to have Target as the client rather than a supplier or competitor. Haven't seen those in 6 months and it was the first time I had seen them. They do, from time to time, get shopped by either competitors or suppliers. Sears and KMart on occasion have audits that are a PITA for the money. Haven't seen a whole lot of those lately, so I kind of wonder if they are a once a year per location thing. Obviously I can't tell you who shops them without violating my ICA, but I have seen them at a company everybody signs up with initially for the fast food shops.

I am doing a Kiosk (mobil) in the Target store. I have not seen any you mentioned, however, I don't work for that FF MSC.

I agree, do these companies not see this industry as a benefit and do not bother with them?

I have done 2 Target shops in the last year. One was b4 the whole store change around and include grocery portion and the other was in October b4 ghost and goblin time.

U R right, Flash, they don't do them to often. I came across those two shops while looking for other shop.

The poster should look up the MSC that pays $3 to $4. If she really wants to do some department store shops.

The Purple Portal certified merchandiser site does Price Auditing jobs for Target. You may want to check them out.

Although Sherola sound like she did her shops on the Purple portal, my shops were done using the BLUE portal. I don't shop for the purple portal.

I only do work these days for the purple portal company because I have been with them long enough to negotiate rates and pay...and, for the most part they pay on time, but can be very pretentious and cancel your account.
