HELP Mystery Shopper recommendation

Hi,
I would like to be a secret/mystery shopper in the Orlando area. I have heard there's lots of scammer's out there. I've also been told if there's a joining fee it's no good.
Can anyone recommend a good company to join.
Thanks

There is a list here in the first post of the first thread of the Mystery Shopping Company Discussion of legitimate companies. But let me suggest that you read through the forum for shopper experiences and especially through the New Mystery Shopper section if you are just starting out.

Read this board and go to the MSPA.com site, They have a job board and companies that are reliable. Job Slinger.com charges a small fee for some of their leads. It is good if you do not know anyone. Once you are established and you are good at what you do your value will speak for itself and schedulers will call you if you are reliable and have skills (that come from practice.)

Before I retired I was told I had an MBA. I did work on a professional level where detail and the ability to be quick on your feet was essential. You start with a BS ( Bull somethng) and as you get better you get an MS (More of the same) A PHD is next, you have it piled hip deep. That MBA is a Master Bull Artist, you can get in and out of any situation because you enjoy playing the role the scenario puts you in and you are at ease.

This is not entirely accurate. Jobslinger does not charge a fee; it is a free site listing postings from most Sassie companies, and some of the posts from Violation and the MSPA.

Jobslinger Plus, an upgraded version of Jobslinger, charges a fee for the upgraded services it provides.

Both users see the same listings.
