I'm brand new and wanted to start out by getting a silver certification from MSPA. I took it yesterday. No problem then. Later I went back in to their website, found me, my payment, etc., but no certificate number. There is no contact person. Any suggestions?

Welcome! If you do a forum "search" on MSPA or "certification" for the past 90 days or so, you will find a lot of similar comments. But, do not worry. The certification is not of much value, according to most shopper cmments.

How many MSCs are you signed up with? What is your favorite sort of shop so far?

Didn't they send you an email with your certification number? Look in your spam folder? Its been 14 years since I took it so I don't remember how I got my number after taking it.
I'm probably signed up with a dozen. Don't mean to sound impatient, but I feel like I've just spent $25 and did not receive what I was supposed to receive, whether it's significant or not.

I've only done two and if I can say this, Intellishop won't be among my favorites.
A lot of shoppers share your opinion of that MSC. However, it is one that most newbies start with because they off shops that are easy for new shoppers. Remember, MSPA exists mainly for the MS companies. When it comes to things like working directly with shippers, nit so much attention seems to be on that. If you read further on these forums you will find that the majority of us do not recommend sending money to MSPA. If you are reliable and diligent you will not need their certifications. I am sorry that you did not join and read in time to discover the issues with that. BUT, you will find a ton of useful information in the New Mystery Shoppers area of the forums AND you can look up an MS company, using the "search feature to see recent shopper opinions of that company.

The fact that you found this forum might be worth more than your $25, but it was your due diligence in searching that made that happen. Think of all the people who spent that money and DIDN'T find the forum!!
