Plano, TX

Hello,

I have been looking around the website for the past few days and I am gaining a lot of valuable information so thank you for that. I just recently began to really look into mystery shop as a fun little hobby right now. I'm a student with some free time on my hands and I'm only taking a few jobs that the reimbursement fee is low as I don't have a lot of capital money to use. I'm trying a few different ones; I have done a retail shoe, a retail gift, and I have a dealership, carwash, and a hardware store coming up.

I am a bit surprised that some of the timing shop tests are so intense. I can understand why, I just never thought of how complicated a company like that can be - mostly McDonald's. I have tried to take the tests twice now to no avail so I figure I will just keep with my little shops and leave the rest to the more veteran shoppers.

I am not sure where I want to take this hobby. I think right now, I will just keep it simple and try not to stress to much about it. I am still trying to learn the abbreviated slang that I see. (CL and MSC come to mind)

Again, I thank you for the information and I'm very glad to have found this forum.

CL is Chicken Little. It came about as a reference to shoppers who take extremely low-paying shops, usually those offered by Corporate Research International, at their starting rate of $4 to $6. CORI is known for raising fees shortly after the start dates for the jobs.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
