Hi all! On a whim, I just decided to join this forum. I am a proofer for a mystery shopping company and I read reports every day. Some of them are excellent, some are not quite so excellent, but it is always an interesting experience. I'm actually considering doing some shopping of my own, too. I've experienced one side of the biz, so it might be fun to experience the other!
I thought, in case any of you were curious what goes through a proofer's mind, I would avail myself to you for questions. I'll probably start a thread elsewhere on the Forum so you have a better place to post your questions and concerns.
A few rules:
* I will not disclose the name of the company I work for. I'm not sure whether I would get in trouble for it or not, so I would rather keep that to myself.
* I can speak for neither my own company, nor other companies, when it comes to anything other than proofing reports, but I am happy to take some educated guesses. Just don't hold me to them. ;-)
* I am actually pretty busy, so while I am happy to respond to questions and comments, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to. One thing is for sure, though. If you are rude or insulting, you probably won't get a response from me.
Aside from that, it's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to interacting with anyone who is interested. :-)
