Howdy from Texas! (and yes, that's how I talk)

I've been a member here for several months. I enjoy reading what y'all have to say. I must admit I have learned a lot. I thought it was about time to start sharing the knowledge and wisdom I've gained throughout the years with other readers.

Just a little about me: I have been written shopping for 10 years. I just started doing video about 3 months ago. I have been in law enforcement for 15 years and have extensive experience using concealed camera equipment so it only seemed natural that I start doing video shopping. I have to admit that I really enjoy not having to write narratives. Well, there is the one apartment place that is the exception but I believe I have almost gotten somewhat used to their lengthy reports.

I do have a thick, friendly Texas accent. It works well when I need it to. Seems to put people at ease. Not sure if it has been a benefit when I've been shopping although it has been a great help when I'm at my "9 to 5."

So, for those of you that live in Central Texas, the next time you see a cop just think he may be a mystery shopper too. Oh, and I do love a sense of humor and originality. My favorite excuse for speeding: "My wife is ovulating and I got to get home." I gave him a warning (and told him to slow down).

I’m looking forward to meeting y’all.

Welcome to the Board!

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
lol! His wife is ovulating!! Having had fertility problems myself for years I completely understand that one!! I've just started video shopping too and it really seems to be much more worthwhile financially, particularly with the shorter reports. It's a good thing you're not a cop in Virginia because a lot of us shoppers have had problems with tickets in VA! Speeding laws are crazy there. They seem to change very couple of miles.... Welcome to the board! We look forward to getting to know you better!
Watch out for changing speed limits every few miles in NC! Video shoppers seem to be supporting the NC economy. The lowest speeding ticket comes to $223 becasue of some mandatory "court costs" even tho you don't go to court.

Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Some states (Texas included) are quirky with their traffic laws. Let's face it, citations bring in a lot of revenue to the state and local governments. For shoppers who are on the road trying to squeeze in some shops along the way or even for our road warriors out there, one ticket can kill a days work.
