New Shopper from South Mississippi

Hi, I'm completely new to Mystery Shopping and have my first shop scheduled for Saturday. It's a fast food restaurant and my question is: the client requires 3 different times to be recorded. This being my first shop, how do I conseal the fact that I'm timing them without blowing my cover? I'm really excited to be do this as I'm a full time kidney dialysis patient so this will not only give me some spending money but get me out of the house from time to time. TIA for any advice!! Janet

Welcome to the forum! I use the stopwatch on my cell phone. Everybody walks around holding a cell phone. Nobody even thinks its suspicious. It's very easy to get the timings, and if your stopwatch app has a lap feature, it gets even easier.

I use my cell phone stopwatch, too. I pretend I'm checking messages. smiling smiley

I'm glad to see a new shopper in South MS. I used to live near Jackson and it seemed that companies had a difficult time finding people for assignments on the MS coast.

This is fun. I started last year and found I do really enjoy going to places that I would never have gone to without it being a mystery shop!
